This has to be the worst sounding G37 I've ever heard. He sped past me earlier while my window was down and gave me instant tinnitus 🤣. He kept gassing it thinking it sounded cool, not realizing the horrible vibration noise this POS muffler setup was putting out. Seriously though, this is/was made as a joke. While I may not like the exhaust note, the kid driving it probably loves it. So all the power to him to mod his ride however the hell he wants too. Keep on riding, modding and learning!
I've always loved the way the G37s sounded, this one makes the VQ engine sound awful. Although, I guess we were all young and dumb once. 🤷♂️😂 I must say, I'm glad to see the modding and car community is still going strong, even if their taste in exhaust notes isn't the best! Keep on modding and having fun with your rides guys, if you like it, thats all that matters. Stay safe and have fun ya'll.

Not that I think most people actually read a shorts decription - Here is a short showing my old G, 2011 G37S Sedan sold about 6months ago because I didn't drive it enough to make sense keeping it, out at a drag strip. Was there to have fun and didn't expect to win. Was a good day at the strip.

Not shitting on the VQ at all. This sound this car was making was an abomination to the VQ sound. I've defended the VQ in several other comments, the VQ is one of the only good sounding V6 engines until you get to high end shit. Taking that good sound and doing this to it... it's a shame more than anything.

@@ikmal444 I have an 06 STi, although I don’t drive it much anymore. I’m more into off-roading now. Well first of all, I’d start by never buying a Honda. Then I’d continue with the best tires you can afford coupled with the best suspension you can afford. Bonus if you get a little wider wheels with some degree of offset. For the life of me IDK how people make their car sound so damn shitty sometimes, this is coming from a guy whos done backyard tricks like gutted cats, muffler deletes and cheap metal exhaust piping from a muffler shop, non mandrel bent and people always ask me “what exhaust system is that, bro?” on any of my whips. I’ve had friends of mine that dont want a check engine light or a tune, so they do stock or high flow cats and we do headers and everything else, they sound great and run harder, I guess some people got the magic? 😂😂 Plus mustangs that are V6 and Chevy V6’s that sound like this but worse and then the regular sound of the Chevy Colorado, sounding like a old ‘95/2000 Honda Accord Auto with JUST a fat ass ricer muffler, but then you see them fly by you and hear boost 😂 WTF is going on today?

i can confirm, i cut of my muffler and resonator and put on a glass pack on my 350de and it doesnt sound too bad but the drone is bad, wife has a 2017 qx50 and we put on a magnaflow and kept the resonators and it sounds much better.
