Thanks alot for this video! I bought the twin model GV7pro in the same form factor running with a dongle receiver, it supports mic functions without the bluetooth support. Given the price it is a pleasant surprise! The buttons for the keyboard and shortcuts are very useful!

Great bluetooth remote, very useful when there has no free usb port to 2.4G receiver or to any device that just has bluetooth receiver, air mouse smooth and extremely useful, hold OK button even with drag & scroll feature, this is very very hard and inconvenience when use original remote.

Thanks for the helpful review, One question regarding the remote's response while it is in sleep mode, If the remote goes to sleep and I press, for example, the volume up button, will it wake up and raise the volume with the same press? Or should I press first to wake up the remote, then press a second time for action ? Thank you for your eagerness to answer all the questions.

so the Bluetooth on this is BT 4 and it will require about 2.5seconds to wakeup and reconnect and while it is waking up if you do press buttons it can make your remote to be in deep sleep.

Hi! Thank you a lot for this video. Finally I've got one for my Nvidia Shild and I'm very happy with it. Only thing I miss is the voice search. Does this Remote not support voice search? I saw the little hole right neighbour the Indicator light and thought this must be the mike? If this is not the mike, for what is this hole then?

I bought 2 of these remotes and the functions work fine on Chrome TV but, the infrared learning doesn't work at all. I must have 2 bad remotes?

it does work on Chromecast with Google tv but doesnt have google assistant. Sorry I dont know anything about remapping.

If Mirroring it is different, but to skip you need to hold rewind or fast-forward button

this Remote has its own Pros and Cons, Pros are more then Cons, I have not added the AndroidTVOS portion on this video since I had a pairing issue.

There are so many styles of the airmouse. I actually really enjoy my Riitek K25 feels like it’s made of super expensive material. And the buttons are well made also very accurate mouse. But I like this too. Being Bluetooth. Most of them are these days. Or should be

We’re the buttons on this look like the silicone style the rii k25 buttons /keyboard especially feel like a harder almost plastic material. But Great review I would use this product

Is the power button used to turn on the TV via IR or via Bluetooth? Does my Android TV need to have an IR receiver to work with this remote? My current Android TV remote is also Bluetooth but it does not have a keyboard like this one.

Works like a charm on my Android box. But for some reason, I'm running CoreELEC on that same box and OK button just does not work whatever I do. Keymap Editor doesn't help.

yes Linux OS itself and not core Elec, also it works beautiful with Android TV Boxes, when it comes to TVOS it comes a limited since TVOS started to only allow maybe few buttons. So companies could sell those so called Google Authorized remotes.

do you get a green flashing on this after a while? i try to use the remote and it just flashes green and doesn't connect to the tv box. I have to disconnect, forget the device and re-connect and it works for a bit before it stops again.

it works on android tvos, so that means Chromecast google TV is the same OS.

Hi, can you show how to pair all the IR key, ive been tried several time now, still cant setting them. i think for the off button that you showed, i think it turn off the box, not tv. can you try unpair he box first, then, try pair with tv remote. please sir, hope i can find this solution

@@xctechs yes it blinks ok , the android 10 box simply does not respond. Then I pair again, it works for few seconds , it stops working again but the remote shows that it tries to send the coommands, it seems that the android 10 car box stops responding

I want to love this remote but so far I am not loving it. It has everything that is needed. But while you don't use the remote for a while. It disconnects from TV. Then nothing works like volume buttons. , PG+ and PG- and no button. Then after pressing them for 10 seconds they work. I don't know which company makes it or what is thier website. It may need update of the firmware. I don't know. Do t even know why light comes on every 5 seconds to connect to tv?

@@xctechs I got one more from amazon now, and now new one detects the g7bts, and says couln't pair, first one now also says the same thing, is there a way to reset to factory setting on these remote, or power cycle it?

@@shehzadghazi Press the IR and OK button at the same time until the green light blinking rapidly (pairing mode) then you can pair to any device but make sure to unpair with previous device before pairing to another.. 😉

I have both videos, check it out, I have explained each by itself, you can't compare them, due to date of release chips are not the same. layout is not the same and most functions are not the same. as you can see it visually.

@@xctechs Actually I've watched both videos before asking the question. Before that I didn't these brands at all. I know one is a bluetooth device while the W3 used WiFi and needs a dongle. But based on your needs and experience, if you can choose only one, which would you choose now?

you need to ask your seller, since this remote is almost 4 years old. it did not work for me with AndroidTV OS. and Nvidia Shield is one of them.

if you are still connected with first pc or box, in same room, yoiu need to disconnect from box then you can pair with another unit. no reset.

Great video, except it should have said "if you bought this air mouse, use it to give this video a like and comment" btw, you can probably go into the android configuration and tell it you have an external keyboard so that the on-screen doesn't show up, and so that pressing enter works

Nice, thank you! On a related note - I downloaded chrome to the Shield (thank you for that too!) but for some reason when I went to search Google it only allowed the voice option and wouldn't give me the keyboard. Any suggestions to rectify that situation? Thank you in advance!

reset?? there is no reset cause it sends signal it has no other memory, maybe you need to drain the batter or click on and off the switch to turn it off.
