Shankar Jaikishan (also known as S-J), were a popular and successful Indian composer duo of the Hindi film industry, working together from 1949 to 1971. They are considered to be two of the best music directors of the Hindi film industry. Later, Shankar continued to function as a Music Director alone, still giving music under the banner Shankar-Jaikishan, till 1987.
Shankar-Jaikishan, along with other artists, composed "everlasting" and "immortal melodies" in the 1950s, 1960s, and early 1970s.[2] Their best work was noted for being "raga-based and having both lilt and sonority".

Yes this is music.Music to ear,heart and soul.All time great , genius and legendary music director duo shankar Jaikishan were musicians who have magical touch in their composition.They have redefined the melody unka jadu shir chad kar bolta tha .uss time par shankar Jaikishan ji ka Jalwa sach me aisa hi tha and to corborate my statement let me share some of the compelling factor behind this . actuallyThe main USP of legendary music director duo Shankar Jaikishan was that all songs of their album became instantly hit,this was the rarest of rare virtues any composer could posses but they were blessed by God Grace and this particular film is a great example of it. Another USP was their compositions were so catchy and liked by masses and classes equally.in addition to that be it orchestra arrangements,creation of preludes and Interludes,use of chorus , back ground score,title songs or theme songs shankar Jaikishan were the Trend setters in all respect.shankar Jaikishan were indeed miles ahead of their contemporaries in all the department of music and they proved it time and again.unki baat hi alag thi aur unka andaz bhi juda tha rather in short I must say that the whole team of shankar Jaikishan was simply superb and genius to the core ,the music composers duo were par excellence who said to have devine touch in their composition.
