This song seems to effect everyone in a similar way. It's truly spectacular. For those who haven't yet heard the news, March 12, 2021 was a pivotal day in the life of Dimash as he became the most requested artist on MTV's youtube channel Friday Livestream. Enough of us took the time to spend three hours helping Dimash out by typing REQUEST DIMASH in the chat next to the show's streaming video. Our efforts succeeded in helping Dimash replace the act that had held the top spot consistently for over six months! Our work, however, is not done; it has just begun. In order to keep Dimash in the top position that he deserves we need to tune into the MTV youtube channel Friday Livestream (5-8 pm New York time, weekly on Fridays) and type REQUEST DIMASH as many times as possible in the chat during the three hours of the program. Voting for Dimash can also be done Mondays-Fridays on Google Forms, Instagram and Twitter. E' un ragazzo che ha doti naturali (le sue corde vocali soni 2 cm più lunghe del normale), ma lavora sodo ogni giorno, fa ginnastica, nuoto, allo scopo di migliorare le sue prestazioni canore, non beve bibite gasate, ma acqua naturale e a temperatura ambiente. Dopo le prestazioni canore....va a riposare. Per lui la notte serve per ricaricare le sue capacità canore....non per alcool, droghe, ecc. He has three boxes by his bed. One is voice type, one is song style and the third is how he should look. Each day he picks randomly one from each box and performs those for his next performance. He can do them all, after all and changes his looks to suit. You can never get bored with Dimash.

Igor Krutoy composed 'Olimpico' for the European Olympic Committee, and it was first performed by Dimash at a stadium in Belarus, with aged former athletes dragging a giant flag around a track. Videos are available but the sound isn't good. Since that first performance, Dimash has performed the song on stage several times, with better sound tracks available, as with the version you reacted to. I gather that the song urges athletes to ignore their limitations and give their utmost. I think it's the best Olympic-themed music since John Williams' 'Olympic Fanfare,' also a beautiful composition (but there are no lyrics or vocalists, it's strictly orchestral music). Krutoy has other collaborations with Dimash worth hearing - 'Love Is Like a Dream,' 'I Miss you,' 'Your Love,' 'Know,' 'Passione,' 'Love of Tired Swans,' 'Te Amo Cosi,' 'Ulisse,' probably some others I'm forgetting. The last one is available as a music video, but I much prefer any of the stage presentations for the song. (Your tastes may be different.) In a long life, I've heard many great and amazing singers, but none were Dimash's equal.
