As an Arsenal fan, Gabriel has performed better than Salbia this year. Best defensive partnership in the league. Gabriel is hugely underrated.

I actually think Rice is somewhat underrated, his reading of the game is incredibly good and the power he’s got in his legs to track back and make clean tackles is unmatched in this league.

Watkins 19 goals 12 assists Foden 16 goals 7 assists Foden also playing for Man City getting chances galore and feeding Haaland every week. Watkins has clearly been the best player this season but because he plays someone outside the fake 'Big 6' he isn't considered. Even if Watkins ends the season on 25 goals, 12 assists, he'll still not win it.

@@GIBBO4182 That's your opinion. I believe he is a weak link and Palmer would be better. All Saka does is collect the ball from the right cut into the left shoot or cross. He doesn't take players on and is less cerebral than Palmer. Pickford and Kane have been Englands best performers the last 2 seasons.

Funny thing about the EPL...some of the best defenders in the world play in it, and it's not unusual for attacking players to shine in their breakthrough seasons but it doesn't really count for anything until you see them delivering season after season, AFTER the opposing defenders have figured them out a bit. I can remember players like Michu , looking like an absolute world beater for a season, then disappear. Not saying that Cole won't be great...just think everyone needs to calm down and let the lad mature and develop.
