Agreed, he was so on point with literally every topic and was unbiased and truthful. Most of all easily digestible. Like somebody who didn't see the fight would get a good understanding of what happened and how Haney lost.

Totally agree, Haney should take a damn near a year off regroup and don’t look for a rematch especially at this weight maybe later on in his career but not now. Take that fight as a lesson learn to sharpen his boxing skills and mental state. He’s a boxer NOT a puncher PERIOD and he needs to understand that.

As a Spence fan I’ll NEVER flip he’s STILL my superhero. Boxing comes with wins and losses, ALOT of fighters never experience being on the world stage and winning championships. Spence carried grace on the world stage. Not taking anything away from TC I respect the bravery of any man who steps into the square ring.

Gabe is 1000% on point. I believe haney had the wrong people on his corner. His fathers most recent response...leads me to believe he contributed to it all *root reason.* Both are fairly talented but what I personally witnessed from experience Haney looks exhausted - not focused. Ryan did awesome...should they do it again? 1000%.

What went wrong for devin hayney is caring too much if ryan garcia is ready or not ready for the fight. he got sucked into rayan garcias antics and paid the price big time. not only that allowing rayan garcia to come in 3 pounds hevier means ryan garcia was close to 143 weeks ago then needed very little work to get the rest of the pounds off. whereas hayney had to cut way more weight close to the fight so that can weaken a fighter at least for the later rounds. hayney should be a perfect example to other boxers not to fool around in this game.

if you really go back & really analyze the fight if that 3rd knocked down doesn’t happen. Haney Still possibly wins by split decision or maybe the fight goes to draw‼️‼️ (Ryan just had the big moments in the 2nd half of the fight) and also people keep saying they should’ve stopped the fight‼️but the fact that they didn’t Haney was closing the gap little by little and also the fact that Haney came out that Mayweather gym fighting/beating everyone in the dog house rules it mentally prepared him for moments like he had as a professional that he wasn’t going to give up bc the doghouse rules is whoever quits and that’s instilled him to not quit as a professional ‼️ ( just give you guys a different perspective)

He was aggressive. Haney was literally walking down Ryan for the first 6 rounds. even after he got knocked down he was still trying to follow Ryan for some reason. Haney didn’t even show any defensive moves or good foot work. Also in the 3rd round Haney was so shooked up he tried to KO Ryan with a left hook and hit ryan flush on the chin and didn’t go down. So all that was just dumb for Haney. Ryan was way too fast and strong for Haney. Even if Haney was keeping his distance or walking down Ryan, Ryan is just way more faster and stronger, even a better chin.
