Shocking amount of sexism and fatphobia in the comments. Acting isn't about gender or looks, it's how well you can make a character come to life, to create someone you can relate to, empathize with or just find interesting in general. And yes she talks a lot about race, so what? It's not as easy being black in America as you might think, and it's gotten worse the last few years as well. She has every right to talk about those issues if she feels they are necessary to bring up (which they actually were for some of these movies). Please show some dignity, people.

Her family story is so intriguing. But it’s so beautiful seeing and knowing Gabby is a whole or reconnection. The family is reunited. That’s extremely rare. Especially in the U.S. where it’s common to see BM mixing with non-Black people to erase themselves on purpose. Seeing Gabby is amazing, touching, and bittersweet.

An actor is taking on whatever persona is needed. I love her honestly. Equality is the goal we strive for, unity. She talks about the Civil War reenactments but saying that she loves taking white folks Jobs is the same thing. Slavery is Over. Unity is the real key to finding that no matter what color your skin color is you are equal in value, love and in all aspects of your life.
