Totally agree ! Same thing, no effects or reverb when trying out a new guitar. That’s what is annoying me with many KZfaq guitar demo’s… all you hear are the effects and not the guitar 😢

I find reverb to be a crutch for many guitarists, especially those in Grateful Dead land. It sounds amateurish, reverb is a tool to blend with the band and the room. Unless you are Surfing it up, chill on the reverb and let the room do the work.

I mean, reverb is cool to help you give space between your sound. too much though, then you can barely hear what you are playing
