The way these two artists glide on ice, their flowing movements, dancing, and exuding this sense of freedom, of gentleness and fire, of balance and connection are superb. A wonderful couple.

It really was pretty OK: there were a few technical errors; and since this was the Short Dance, they stand out more. And in the long run, they won their first World Championship here - and what the announcers don't tell you is that the 'presentation' marks were first for this dance.

🥀Dès que je les aperçois, tous les deux, je frissonne d’émotion, je sais, au plus profond de moi, qu’ils seront EXTRAORDINAIRES. Gabriella et Guillaume sont deux Cœurs qui battent à l’unisson♥️♥️ils sont faits l’un pour l’autre, à DEUX, ils ne font qu’UN, ils ont même cette capacité à être interchangeables, Guillaume porte physiquement Gabriella, Gabriella porte mentalement Guillaume, je pense que c’est cela qui est à la base de leur grande Réussite et puis, ils ont la même grâce, le même charisme et ils sont d’une élégance💎💎💎 Sans chauvinisme aucun, je pense que sur cette magnifique prestation, ils ont été « saqués », d’ailleurs l’attente des résultats est très longue. Quelle virtuosité. Ce que vous venez de faire restera gravé dans l'histoire et la mémoire de la danse sur glace. C'est le sommet du raffinement et de l'élégance. Vous méritez tous les honneurs et tous les compliments. En espérant une prochaine médaille d'or à Montpellier en mars à l'occasion des championnats du monde. Je vous souhaite encore plus de succès, de réussite et de bonheur. Bonne continuation. Je me surprends (secrètement) à rêver : Et si à l'avenir, dans 8 ans, dans 12 ans, c'est ma fille (16 ans) et son partenaire (18 ans) qui prenaient votre place CHAMPIONS de France juniors de danse sur glace (Charleville-Mézières 4 et 5 février 2022) et qui représenteront la France (en danse sur glace) aux Championnats du monde juniors de patinage à Sofia du 7 au 13 mars 2022. Very innovative if not groundbreaking. It’s my 1st time watching this short dance routine: looks like a modernized version of Anissina/ Pezeirat’s Olympic original dance from 2002 to me. Can’t believe they were not even 20 yet at the time… they were already so mature and stylistically self assured !!!
