This is my favorite type of Gacharic Spin songs lately, when first impression is "I hear this is a tasty song, but I will have to listen again multiple times to understand it better", and it is such a promising journey. And indeed, live performance is incredible.

This video is from the first time the song was performed (at Roppongi EX Theater, Tour 2024 ACE final), so the audience is confused. The audience (include me) wants to somehow synchronize our beat with the song but is unable to do so. Gacharic Spin has since performed the song at Naon-No-Yaon concert, HANA's birthday live, and at Tokyo Dome City Hall on July 6th, but the audience still is not familiar with the song. Like many of the songs on Ace, it is experimental and difficult to understand. It will take some time for existing fans (even Gachaman & Pinko) to enjoy this song, and new fans will likely have a hard time finding the appeal of the song.

Yes, the song has a lot of unusual chord changes and modulations. If you combine that with the interweaving vocals, that makes the song really hard to understand. The mix/arrangement is not helping either, since there is not 1 instrument you can hear clearly enough. I guess it needs the studio version, to really grasp the song. I still like it a lot and the drumbeat with the repeat vocals is really catchy :)

Finally listened to this with headphones over my computer and found the sound is actually quite good. For fuller fidelity, I adjust the volume down slightly and gently press the buds into my ears. I think the instrumentals are well mixed; in fact, I captured more of KOGA's playing this way, because this is not a slap-bass part. I hear both guitars and keyboards equally well, which is essential for their instrumentation. If anyone of them dominates, you cannot hear the others so well. I wish yuri's toms could be more closely mic'd, but I'm resigned to the likelihood that she/they want them to sound that way. The kick part is most impressive. The main issue is that all the vocals seem to come through one channel (center or top of the spectrum), and particularly Oreo's backing vocals seem compressed. Hard to know if that's by design. I think the song has to grow over time, but this live performance video certainly captures the chaotic frenzy of GS that we've come to know and love.

Die Kleidung der Mädels ist hinreißen - im Westen kommen die meisten Musiker in abgewrackten Jeans und drügen t-shirts auf die Bühne und was mich auch beeindruckt: eigentlich alle japanischen Musikerinnen strahlen eine unbändige Lebenslust aus und schießen selbst dann noch bezauberndes Lachen über die Bühne, während sie auf ihren Instrumente Höchstleistungen verbringen.
