😂Hi😊congratulations you should get one of these old models of coffee machines on the second hand market: "faemina" lever or vibiemme domobar (E61 for home) old model. On these models you could make your changes from simple to complex and enjoy great coffees with all parameters under control. Greetings

Great effort, one remark only, you should have replaced the original opv valve bolted on the pump with a simple elbow. Now you have two opv valves and there's no reason.

on water pump is safety valve 16 bar, not opv valve, thank

No not drop to 9bar without leak test many time for save money without succes! Other real opv have oring and allen screw for adjust and seal. Not require glue(locktint, or other not safe for food product)

my gaggia espresso with preheat tube, pressure gauge and ... but adjust opv with my pressure gauge is ok? or require portafilter gauge?

Hey! I think I saw an image of your machine with a giant steamwand attached. I cant seem to find it again. What kind of wand did you use? It works well with this machines shape I think. Cool preheater mod too! looks like a engine! :)

hi all fitting found on fastenal.com 1/4" tube(for copper)compression X 1/8" female NPT(thread) Rethread to fit with M10X1.0 tap Gaggia thread is metric!! For parts go partsguru.com/GaggiaHomeEspressoMakers.html Great website for found number part and me buy on philips.ca website.

I found one for sale with a matching burr grinder and gaggia stand for 300, would you say that is a fair price? If I do get it I'm going to try and do this mod!!!

i have exact same coffee gaggia(love it) :) not have opv but same boiler easy fit gaggia classic opv!!! Machine work great and no leak after 3 years!!!! this old machine is solid product work years years and years with good care! thank for your comment!!

First off, what are you doing up so late? Was trying to understand the video a little better before asking more questions. Have to find the Saeco part here in the US. The fitting on the top of the valve ... that has no purpose?

+alexis c what is the OEM fitting on the plastic tubing? straight thread? So you use a straight thread to compression union?

+Not As Rich As the Rest Use same method(cop compression fitting)on white plastic tube not exact same size (MM not SAE)but no leak. use a compression union to straight thread on OPV valve thread is M10 1.0
