Great Rendition. This upanishad shows that vedic people were quite open minded and were really only striving for knowledge while simultaneously acknowledging that Ultimate reality is brahman that cannot be grasped in totality, but only in parts and in the interplay of these parts.

8:42 - Indra here refers to Greatest and Brahman Himself. Greatest path making the statement to be interpreted along with the Vedic Statement "Brahmavit Brahmaiva Bhavati" meaning Brahman alone knows Brahman. Instead of Indra (King of Gods), usage should be as Greatest Path to know Brahman, which one shall never know unless the Brahman descends down.
