My dear mother, a diehard follower of Christ, passed away 2days ago(02/16/2021). In her final hours when we were all thinking it might happen today or tomorrow, this song came to mind. I sent the full lyrics to all my siblings and forwarded the video to them as well. Everyone was happy I brought this song their way at this difficult time. Instead of sadness and heavy hearts everyone was grateful for the life that mother lived. I and my family are really blessed that we have this heaven-centric melody to comfort us at this time. I’m really grateful to the Ruppes and Gaither Vocal Band for this masterpiece!

thank you so much for these songs,today brought a huge trial involvi g my son,i am hanging in right now,i dont know at present if hes safe....hes drinking and mite attempt cut his wrists...he says he loves god,hes just had trial after trial after trial...hes done it several times before,but god spared him...im praying god spares my precious son again,today......these songs are giving me strenth and helping me go to god in prayer. anyone who reads thos,today is wed sept 18,2019....will you pray that my son is ok...god bless you all, and thank you.its like the song says it one day at a time,one hour at a time,one minute at a time...sweet jesus,give me strength ...we all have trials,and i have learned one thing for certain... Having lived a large portion of my life as a Hospice Nurse, I can verify that Angels are often in the room when a dear Christian is going home. I have been VERY aware of their presence. This is a beautiful funeral song as it's so true that when we take our last breath here we take our first breath in heaven!

Bless you for writing ythe lyrics - now I can sing along. Absolutely love the words and the music. I dont know for sure if angels or an angel carries us away but the Lord knows and blessed us with this song. More importantly is just how ready are we for our journey to meet our Father? I lost my mom in March 2021 I have a cat mom was never able to touch, but somehow she knew mom was ill and going blind The morning mom passed Precautions come into her room I called for her to get on my lap her eyes looking strangely around the closet doors. I said are you seeing granny’s angels her head did a quick look at mom then back to the closet jumping off my lap as mom took her last two breaths. Yes I believe there was angels in the room 👼

This was what my sis n law said to me while I held her in my arms before she went to be with our Heavenly Father for Eternity even the Drs couldn't believe the Beautiful smile that was on her face once she passed. I wish i knew this song back in 2021 when my mum was passing on...we were around her bedside the whole time. I believe angels were also there amongst us, waiting to carry her to the place she always believes she'll be when she's gone..where she'll meet the Saviour she had always sang about when she was alive.. I can only imagine. ❤

My Aunt Dorothy told my cousin that she saw Jesus and Angels in her hospital room. Some day when it's my time I well see the same thing. I believe with all my heart I will see Jesus on that day.

My mama was told she had cancer n was in the hospital. She had a test n was tired. So my sister n I left for abit. When we come back, she was up on one elbow, n all excited about this guy that was in her room. She said, "Did you see him? When you walked in, he had to of went past you." She told us, she was in a deep sleep n this guy woke her up. Called her by name. He told her, it wasn't time yet but he would be back for her. My sister n I thought it was the heavy drugs she was on. 2 days later she passed. Later my sister n I believe it was her angel waiting to take to Heaven. Only she saw him, he was coming back for her. N he did. I miss my mama. She was 64

I always cry when I listen to this song, it reminds me of my late sister who died of brain tumor, I remember that last moment we spent around her bed watching her struggling to breath💔💔😭 that was a very painful experience for me, but I have this blessed hope in Jesus to see her on that golden morning .

This picture is of my great granddaughter the one who is now helping me in selecting the music for my departure. I've definitely chosen this one and several other from the Gaither Band. Fought cancer last year, I'm preparing so she won't have to. Still have years to go, so my doctor tells me. But I want to be ready when Jesus tells me it's time to come home.

WOW!! Can't keep the tears away while hearing this lovely song. 2 people, both unsaved saw an angel in the room where my mom lay dying. Both said the angel wrapped it's wings around her and lifted her as she passed on to her heavenly home. Those 2 people have since given their hearts to the Lord. This song tells the story as though it was written for that day.
