The best of the Gaithers. These 4, especially Marshall and Wes, were just heavenly together. Too bad they are not together anymore. I've followed Bill Gaithers for a long time and this was the very best combination of the Gaithers hands down.

I absolutely love David Phelps, he’s part of the number one grouping in my opinion. But this group can sing in harmony much better because David’s voice is so distinct you can always pick him out.

I really liked this combo as well. Maybe not as much of a superstar lineup as others, but they were really solid. Everyone sang exactly what the song needed and blended beautifully. Too bad this one didn't last as long.

These men are clearly amazingly talented and I hope my comment isn't taken the wrong way, but I feel this cover, as nice as it might sound melodically, is one of those that kind of weakens the song itself. The clicking doo-wopy style really takes the passion and sincerity out of the words in my opinion, especially when you hear Sister Rosetta Tharpe singing it. Again not to take anything away from the talent these men have, but I hate to see a cover where the emotion/meaning is sacrificed for frills, if you get me.
