For the children of GOD people this is not just a Christmas song but an all year round song of the town that had the privilege to have our SAVIOR born there. Still blessed and encouraged in 2020 because my life is in HIS Hands.

I've been listening to Gaither music since I was like 5 and now I'm 22. There can never be another Gaither or his music and all those homecoming, bluegrass and country music. Ever. ♥♥

When did Wess and Reggie switch roles? When this band was formed, Reggie used to be the tenor and Wes the 2nd tenor. Isn't that right? But I enjoy hearing Wes sing tenor, I know he has the range

@@okebaram Wes was always the first tenor when reggie joined. He was second tenor when David was singing with GVB

@@miguelmcfarlane670 I'm quite certain that Reggie sang 1st Tenor when he joined & Wes sang 2nd not the other way, Reggie took David Phelp's place. But he and Wes have been known to switch places at different songs. But my observation is that at a certain point their "official" roles were switched with Wes being the official 1st Tenor... though they would still play around with switching back and forth EDIT: I was just watching some recent videos and Reggie is back to first tenor lol. They may have only switched on songs like these because where high full voice belting was needed that Reggie was not as comfortable with

He's got the lows, but he rarely uses em. Only not as powerful as other bass singers.

It's so easy to just write off the Gaither music projects as outdated Boomer gospel music with no flavor or originality until you actuslly give it a chance and then the quality is just undeniable. This is solid gold.
