I was privileged to meet Allison Durham at my church in FL when she was only 21. She was planning to marry Ben. She sang "We Shall Behold Him" and signed it as she sang There wasn't a dry eye in the congregation and I had been saved only a month. I met her again, 20 years later, in her small home Church of the Nazarene in NC for a public performance. What a lovely lady. What a voice.

Carolyn, thank you for appreciating Allison's gift as much as I do. Thanks for answering my question as to how she is related to Ben, I had seen her in another video during an emotional outpouring of the Spirit, hugging him with tears in her eyes. Her feeling for him was so obvious, now I know it's depth!

A clinic in how to sing a song..especially when it's in her spirit and Alison's belief comes through .Out here in Australia we have no gospel singers of this calibre,in fact none to rival those in the Bill and Gloria Gaither organization.Great inspiring singers and musicians..

I have been a fan of Sandi Patty for over 35 years! Allison Durham Speer sings this song of Sandi's beautifully. What a rich, full voice she has. I've been listening to all her songs and her higher registers and lower registers are just wonderful. Now I'm a fan of Sandi Patty & Allison D.Speer equally. They have both blessed me with their singing.

Anita Tate Ive sung this song in its original key. Hard to do yes, I think Allison did herself a favor and lowered the key a bit.Making it more comfortable for her to show her vocal strengths

Wow...Just - WOW. Allison has a set of pipes on her that really make this song just blaze with some amazing fire. It's such a pleasure to hear the way that she is able to transition so smoothly between her 3 voices (chest-head-falsetto) and with pure power behind the vocals. What a real treat to have this is my favorites so I can get my batteries recharged here with Allison's singing voice. Thank you for uploading this GaitherVEVO.

Allison, what a mighty testimony she gives here! I think this is the best rendition of "Upon This Rock" I have ever heard. She has a powerful and beautiful voice. Another blessing from the Lord to his people, as are all of these gifted musicians and singing artists. It is so humbling to enter this Cathedral of Praise, and take part in this Worship of the Ancient of all Days! I am always brought to tears by these gorgeous testimonies to the Almighty! I seek fellowship with Lovers of Christ Jesus and I find it here in these beautiful Friends! God Bless them as they minister to the hungry in Spirit! Powerful!

i'm singing this in a choir concert. i hadn't practiced much so thought i better put in abit. I decided to listen to it, and have hardly stopped since i first started. this is truely a powerful song. Both in vocals and words. Such a great rememder everytime it looks like satan is winning ground, we can be sure God is still in control and His church will not die, but will continue to grow.

Amen there. You need to hear her duet with her husband. The song is called NO WONDER. It and they are awesome singing for our Lord God and Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit. I have been so lucky to see her in concert and meet her three times at my church, FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH COLD SPRING KENUCKY UNITED STATES. Allison Durham is from the stare of Tennesee USA. You. Can thank our former pastor Larry Davis, A GREAT MAN, for she being a professional gospel singer because he brought her to our church and helped her get her start of being known. I'm pretty sure she was still in her teens then and She was already a Fabulous voiced gospel singer for the Lord before that ofcourse! I JUST LOVE EVERYTHING SHE SINGS. Allison is also a very good comedien! God bless HER!

There is no competition between Sohyang song.We will feel if it is he or she is singing for a man or for God For me Allison is really anointed singer I feel so fast as he sings the song and I feel it from his heart.
