Thanks, the first fix did the trick! I just installed the latest big Android update and was pretty annoyed that it broke my phone. It would be really nice if they actually spent some time testing this shit before forcing it on our phones and breaking them.

dude thanks so much i fell asleep on my phone and ever since i would put in my lockscreen code then it would shut down. the tapping realy hard on both sides of the phone was the only thing that worked you saved me so much time thank you! never expected that to work

Dude, I have to echo the thanks that everyone is giving you! Happened to my son's phone and was trying each step by step. Got to the part where I'm smacking it on my hand He was playing his video game and stops and looks at me and asks why I'm smacking his phone. No later than 20 seconds later, we hear the start up jingle and I looked at him and go "It worked!!!" he was soooo happy!!! Thank you very much!

Sadly , none of these work for me. I’m a licensed Android Developer (among a-lot of carts and licenses) and and I have tried everything. One night one of my device wouldn’t charge properly (no water damage) I turned it off to see if it charges correctly while off. Instead the device enters a boot loop. I noticed an error on the bottom. Seems like a Kernel Dump but it travels so fast. I even attempted taking video and pausing it on that frame but it was so quick it’s blurry. It does look like it says Kernel Dump though. I can boot into Download Mode , I cannot boot into recovery or Fastboot however. I have tried many options and nothing is working. It seems that it is stuck in a meta l dump for some reason , also seems that the OS is still present. I have explained my background in dev and design briefly so you can skip the “basics” . I know Linux in general had Kdump which creates a lot when the Kernal crashes. Naturally I can’t think of a way to see that log. Is there something I’m missing.

@@TORNADOLEGENDS there are too options depending on why you have the i it loop. If it’s a Kernal dump (which happened to me. You will know by words appearing on the bottom left saying kdump or similar) then there isn’t much you can do about it. I am a software and website dev and I tried everything for that. If it isn’t a Kernal dump then your options are hard reset using the hard keys (if you need I can tell you how). Trying Samsung Kies to fix any issues or Odin amd flashing the original Rom

@@UnrealRealism Thank You 😊. I Can Confirm That It's Not Kernal Dump / Kdump . This Happened After I got the Android System Update . And By Hard Reset There Is A Part Of Me That Hopes 'That Hard Reset' doesn't mean factory reset/complete data loss . If so is there a work-around to avoid losing the data on my phone ?

I have an A71 and it's been like this for months if not a year already. every time I turn it off or restart it it begins to restart it self, it turns on, stays for about a minute and then samsung logo again and it just keeps doing it until I hold the power button and down arrow. Yes this trick fixes the problem but I would like to know what the hell is going on, Why does this work? what am I doing when I hold power and down that doesn't happen during a normal restart? the phone has updated it's software 2 times since this problem started and I've installed and uninstalled several apps but this continues. Tho as long as the phone is on there's no problem and I can use for months. Also what's with the shamanistic methods shown in here lol, massaging the phone??? what's next? make a salt pentagram and chant to the rain gods????

Get a program which fixes bootloop, if you don’t know about Odin it’s gonna fix it.

Are you mad or something... You can not tap tap the lcd or camera with your fingers or massage it. It's not a human or animal... all you have to do is go to service counter and fix it !

I need help NOW!! i have an iphone xs max that i just got fixed, i stabbed the charging port while trying to get a piece of rice out of the charging port bc i had spilt some water in it. I couldnt get it fixed for quite awhile but i got a screen replacement and a new charging port but now it keeps restarting anytime i try to update it or delete photos to clear up space or even when i try updating apps, and when it restarts all of my progress in deleting photos all go back into their folders. do i need to go back to the phone place?
