The one thing that really surprised me was the battery on the #GalaxyA73. In the video I stress tested it with things that you don't generally do on the phone. And so if you consider moderate or average phone use through the day, this battery will last you for 2 days in a single charge despite the Snapdragon 778G that does deliver consistent and smooth gaming performance. I agree it's not the best processor in this price segment, but the phone surely stands as a phone that strikes the best balance between performance and battery life.

Excellent review. You covered everything. The phone has a light feel to it and it is not a curved display which I am not a big fan off. The only deal breaker I guess are the night shots. I saw your video. The night shots are bad.

I'm really confused whether to go with this or S20 FE which is actually 5k cheaper than A73. It's like getting a better processor, a extra barometer sensor while compromising on camera resolution (not sure about the real world camera compariosn tho) & software updates Please reply if I missed any other point to be considered

Go for A73. Snapdragon 778 is comparable in performance to Snapdragon 855, which is a nearly 4 year old flagship processor. Raw processing means nothing to an average Joe who doesn't game as much, as long as the phone handles day to day tasks well. And A73 does that. Longer support and updates are specially more important these days when users are holding on to their phones longer.

Root them, and install a custom ROM. I've just installed an Android 12L (12.1) custom ROM on an old (6 year old) Samsung Tab A6 10.1" - and *it flies!* I've also installed A12.1 custom ROM's on old S8+ and S10+; and on my current S20+. And it's like the phones have been re-born!

S20 fe is 2 generations old. You'll run into software update issues soon. Also, you won't get half the battery life you get on this
