Can you please tell me where this specific Samsung centre is? Cause my fold4 just got the same problem and my local Samsung service centre provides poor customer service

Hi there, Yes, the phone is reset during repair. So you will need to save your data from your phone before you take it for repair. All the best :)

No, the data was fine, and my front screen was working. I also transferred everything from my phone before I gave it for repair as well. All the best.

Hi there, I contacted Samsung and booked an face to face appointment with one of their service centre store. You can also book your device online with Samsung and post it to them. I suggest contacting them and deciding on your best option. My Fold 4 came with 2 years free care package, Depending on your location, do check if your device came with any extras. All the best.

My repair was done by Samsung free of charge under warranty. If you have the same issue, check if your phone is still under warranty.

No, the data was fine. I was still able to use the outer front screen. I did save all my data on an external drive before giving it for repair as per Samsungs instructions.

Your lucky you said they changed the frame too as no scratches , mine has minor scratches from keys coins etc they refuse to repair seems a easy get out from repairing , poor customer services ,

Avoid fold or flip types of phone they aint for use only for show , keep boxed or wrapped in cotton wool as they scrutinise the scratches not interested in what's wrong 😢 apple phone next

I'm sorry to hear that, it is very unfair. What's scratches have to do with what's happened with the phone internally. Unfortunately it's a very expensive repair for a fault that can happen even without much use. I hope you got it resolved. All the best.

A get out from a large corporation who's phones are faulty and not fit for purpose , the scratches along the hinge are due to adhesive on the Samsung case which was purchased with the phone that pick up debris and when it moves around your pocket ,bag etc marks the phone do beware

all good until they lied about the battery lol is separated from the screen what she talking about ? you can see the battery been removed in the KZfaq link: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y5mFnKZhy8Dbd6M.html all she had to do is change the cables that broken because of the motion of opening and closing the phone overtime LMAO
