Thanks for working through the rules. I love the game, but still getting to know the moves well enough to have some fluid play. You are the first person to put up this kind of video. I liked it.

I enjoyed the video. Filled with honest information. Thinking about getting this game in the next month.

As far as I remember it - you are supposed to be able to move and attack. - but you must move first, then attack second. (or just attack and forfeit the movement turn)...They seem to have changed the rules randomly when they rewrote them for the set. The Ghhk/Houjix can move and attack in any order....I might make a "fan game" just to help explain he rules better.

I love chess, so I was interested in this game. I think if you like chess you will like this game. Just like in chess, you may have to move your pieces into squares where they can be attacked, but the trick of chess is deciding whether or not to take a piece from your opponent; you don't have to capture your opponent's pieces all the time. So, the strategy is to coordinate pieces into an area and begin the attack when you have a favorable advantage on your side of the board. I feel like with only 4 pieces per side, this would be a very fast game that can be played multiple times per the length of an average chess game. There's definitely tension and excitement in chess, you just have to...know what you're doing, and take joy in watching out for your opponent's plan haha.

Thank you for the how to play video and review! I was actually attracted to this because chess has always been very intimidating to me and this is like a little cousin version of it. Similar idea like you've discussed but with less pieces. Much more approachable to me and I've been enjoying learning it! Thanks for the information! ❤️

just bought this at Galaxy's edge tonight! As a longtime fan of both abstract board games and star wars, this was the perfect marriage

But only 1 piece can "jump over" pieces and only while moving so running away from each doesn't work as eventually you will get stuck and tangled leaving pieces vulnerable. Especislly as the Brute can jump across the board

Thank you for this super honest review. I was trying to decide if I wanted to buy this or not since you can by it on shop disney online now. I may just try and make my own. I have noticed the galaxy's edge games have much more simplified versions of the game. Their instructions with sabaac miss a lot of the parts I would expect to do in sabaac.

Hmm just now has it came to my attention about this, and I really want it, but I can’t find it on shop Disney? Does Disney not show items if they are sold out, or are they retired or something

I’m sorry that you’re not friends anymore with the guy that you got to buy you this set. If it’s any consolation the video was very informative
