I show you how to factory data reset format your Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus and S10E. Remember with this process you will erasing all your data including videos, photos, etc. So hopefully you have a backup should you have any important info on there.
I show you two ways to do a factory reset (hard reset & soft reset). Should any of you have issues powering down (shutting off) your phone cause you need the password that you forgot let me know and ill show you how to bypass that.

You cant power off the phone if there is a password..... So if you forgot your password it will ask you it once you try and power off the phone.

My kid changed his email for log in then we factory reset it. It keeps going back to log into to email on the phone. Did this even the clear cache option but back to this screen. Any ideas? I'm no tech savvy and this is nuts.

that is for downloading custom software. try again making sure you're holding all the necessary buttons down:)

In order to turn it off, I have to have the screen password which is what I forgot, and I have tried the all 3 buttons but it goes to a weird screen that's NOT what yours looks like, it doesn't show an option for wipping data, it won't do anything on that screen, it just starts back up either button I press, and rifht back to the lock screen password part. Anyone have this issue too? Cus I can't find anything anywhere on instructions as to how to even turn the phone off to be able to factory reset

Nope does not work in 2023... after the original Samsung Icon disappears the phone vibrates again and display a second icon that just says Samsung then boots in... trying to soft reset will not let me unless I log in to the Samsung account. Typical Samsung... think I will bin the shit.

I can't even turn my phone off. It says enter passcode to shut down. I can't get into the phone at all. So when I do what you just said, Bixby goes nuts and says it wants to be turned on. It won't stop talking about Bixby. HELP .. I called customer service and we tried the power button and volume up, it goes to the reset screen, but right to the enter your passcode after the reboot. I'm stumped!
