Being able to use a larger monitor is a must, so the S7 FE would be my go to: I want a table that has video out!

Summig up: the S9FE+ is: a sidegrade in terms of speed and screen (except brightness) an upgrade in terms of software support, fingerprint reader and water resistance a downgrade in terms of video out (including dex on external monitor) Specs vary (from 4GB to 8GB of RAM for the S7FE and from 8 to 12 for the S9FE+) A 8GB version of the S7FE wifi might still be very competitive with the S9FE+ base model if cheaper enough

The USB-C 2.0 port on the S9 FE/+ was a complete deal breaker for me since I use Super Display and on USB 2.0 it's a slide show. Really bizarre choice Samsung...

Bravo 👍 I asked you to advise me between the S9 FE and the S9 as I was very undecided and I still haven't made up my mind. I'm looking for a tablet just for watching sports games, Netflix, social networks and browsing the internet. Nothing more, the S Pen is great but I don't care. Basic use just to have a more comfortable screen than my cell phone. So the S9 FE is logically enough for me. But the S9 has 4 speakers, Amoled, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. I have the budget, but it costs me 320 euros more than the S9 FE. And I want a tablet that stays solid and efficient over time. If you were me, which one would you buy?

@@classicstyloriginal samsung galaxy tab s7 (predecessor to s8 and s9 .. basicly does the same. has the pen and can do anything you like. and because older its cheaper. my son uses it for everything you say you need it for (you said : im looking for a tablet just for watching sports games, Netflix, social networks and browsing the internet. Nothing more... then s8 and s9 are overkill for your demands so better pay for cheaper older version?)

@@classicstyloriginal try to find the base S8 *on sale* if you can, you get way more value than a darn S7 FE. S6 Lite 2022 would be good if you can find it, but I recommend S8. If you only use it to watch media and don't care about the pen, then anything goes TBH. Even Samsung Tab A7 Lite or A8, or watch out for the new A9.

Thanks for the apples to oranges comparison.👍 I am disappointed the latest S9FE+ edition has similar performance to its predecessor, two generations earlier. Sure there are certain improvements in features and RAM but not considerable to justify upgrade. I prefer the Snapdragon chipset. Maybe wiser to wait for the S10FE release in 2024. Curious, can you palm a 🏀?😁

Actually the RAM is a humongous difference because the 4GB on the S7FE were not enough at all. I average 5.5GB of RAM usage. Also, there are performance improvements, just not substantial ones.

@RedaAlkhatib-hj5li I got the 128gb s7fe for $399 cad ($300 usd)last yearbread vnd new. Totally worth that price and traded it in 2 weeks ago for $500 cad during canadian Thanksgiving for the 512gb s9+ which was on sale and ended up getting the s9+ for $549cad which is less than $400 usd for the upgraded s9+ lol. To me the s9fe won't be worth it until it's a lot cheaper than the current price it's going for

The S9 FE plus has a really bright beautiful screen. I just got it to replace my S7 FE with its not so great but good screen. I really did not like the S9 Amoled screen. Its just me but amoled is overrated.

hi, I'm a unoversity student in italy and I need a tablet mainly for writing or sometimes watching movies. Which is better of the two? (Here in Italy the Samsung Tab S9 FE+ costs around €650 and the S7 FE around €450)

In my country, S9 FE+ only have two variants. There are 8 GB RAM with 128GB storage for wifi version, and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage for 5G version. Which one should I choose? Should I have just buy the wifi only or 5G? Well 5G is interesting for me as a future proof, but wifi is just fine for me because I can use hotspot. 128GB internal storage actually enough for me as secondary device and besides it is still support external memory card, but 256GB give me more space for a lot of things, such as more games, and maybe I don't need the external memory card, because it is already big storage. I usually will going to use it for multimedia and entertainment such as watching movies, youtube, and playing games

O mais importante no tablet é a tela, depois processamento e memória RAM para executar os programas. Dito isso, eu acabei comprando o S7 fe e está servindo bem, porém, se tem orçamento vá logo de S9 fe+ ou S9 plus.

Acho que não é bem assim, a Samsung simplesmente colocar a saida 2.0 no S9 FE enquanto no S7 FE é 3.2, quem precisa trabalhar com vídeo/slide precisa considerar outras versões. Na minha opinião a única coisa que é vantagem seria a memória ram de 8, fora isso não vale a troca

Hello, if you could suggest, which can we choose among S7+, S8+, S9FE+ I see S7+ is 44k on flipkart, S8+ around 56k (might go down with card offers once available in flipkart) , S9 FE+ is on 29k with card offer. I want to use the tablet for long term, note taking and stable for light to medium tasks. Can you help me choose among these three or should I wait for release of S10 series?

Tab s9 fe is a downgrade worse processor, worse usb c port in favor of ip68 which isnt realtic for a tablet and makes sense to be only on flagship tablet, they could've cutted ip rating and could've given us better processors 8+ gen 1 and better usb c port and maybe 120hz.
