This is EXACTLY WHY we need more Dalek Emperor characters in the show again, a Dalek itself is hateful, raging and intelligent. However this Dalek Emperor has the same qualities but amplified exponentially to create a meticulous tyrant with a god complex To have such a Dalek in the show without being bound by the limitations of a scavenger who survived a near-death experience would be phenomenal

@NICKatronMC Жыл бұрын
@@michelecastellotti9172 While that's agreeable, I used to think that was enough, but it's not. One thing the Daleks did constantly in the RTD era other than be threatening...was leave an actual impact on the Doctor and the show itself up until the end of Season 4. At the end of Season 1, even though they weren't the ones who killed him, they pushed the Doctor into an irreversible situation where he had no hope of escaping death/regeneration, which ultimately happened. At the end of Season 2, they forced the Doctor and Rose to separate, both of them a universe apart from each other. At the end of Season 4, provoked Donna's destiny of becoming half Time-Lord and forcing the Doctor to erase her memory. After this, he would not find any companions, and almost turn into his own version of the Master. That's what I miss the most from Dalek stories, they used to affect the Doctor and the story with their presence alone. Here's to hoping RTD brings back that narrative power they had during his previous run

He's the incarnation right before Timothy Dalton, isn't he? I mean, if he is, it makes sense, given the timeline (I presume this is either not too long before Night of the Doctor, or when the War Doctor is still in his prime).
@bridgeboy4126 Жыл бұрын
we can assume he is the one before Dalton, would make sense as the body he had before this one was slightly nuts but still sane, this incarnation has went off the deep end crazy and would make sense he regenerates into Daltons incarnation who had lost all grasp on his sanity and went all in on being a god.
@liamroberts1458 Жыл бұрын
@@bridgeboy4126 I assume so, as well. Though, thinking about it, maybe there's a possibility he *is* Dalton, as well. This could be, I dunno, like, 700-800 years before The End of Time, for all we know, and Armitage simply aged after all that time (and Dalton could have had 350+ years or so left in him, for example), similar to the War Doctor. I mean, I bet quite a number of people debate that Armitage and Dalton are the same incarnation, and that reminds me of the Burnt/Crispy Master debate that went on for years, what with fans thinking he was supposed to be Delgado's version of the character.
