Sucks that the flounder start biting at the same time of year that bass start schooling up on shad. Flounder good eating but it's also hard to beat chunking a spook into a school of bass in a feeding frenzy. Decisions decisions. First world problems lol.

Javier Young In my area with a boat you can catch flounder all year. Although you are correct this is the best time of year to catch large numbers of flounder. It is also the best time of year on my lake to catch large numbers of bass. Find the bass busting shad and it's nothing to catch 20 bass in a hour. That's compared to catching 3-4 bass a day at other times of the year. I enjoy both.
