So fun watching you feed quarters! Immediately brought me back to when Foxwoods Casino opened in Connecticut! So many people would buy & wear the "gamblers glove" to save their fingers from turning black from handing the coins lol 😂 Those were the days when people would stand behind the person playing the slot they wanted so when they got up, the person waiting would grab it. Now, casinos are pretty much empty. Different times.

The Illinois gaming cafe/ gas station /restaurant / grocery store non-casino slot “bonus” games cost but your initial win is enough to pay for them. Plus you don’t pay taxes in these locations.

I missed the live stream. Why do some casinos have the grand progressive set at 10k and never changes? Do these machines pay more often?

It's likely not set at 10k, it has just capped at 10k. There are limits to how high some of the progressives can pay. Even though it's capped at 10k, it's still actually growing behind the scenes, so when someone finally hits the 10k, whatever it resets to, it adds the overage to that amount. That being said, casinos can (but not often) set a progressive to a fixed amount. Either way, there is no advantage play here - the odds are the same every spin regardless of what the number is at.

@GambleSmart Hey Mark, My first machine is an Advantage 5 Flaming Red 7 and it has a VFD malfunction - My 2nd machine isWms Hot Hot Super respin Coronado Gold and this game say Game Tilt. I can send pics if needed.
