yeah man this is awesome difficult :D i never beat this game ... :D
@Bloodreign13 жыл бұрын
Dark Souls is the modern equivalent..... nah this game is far harder than Dark Souls. These modern games aren't nearly as ball crushingly hard as these old games were. The games were shorter, so the devs made you work for your victory, especially in western developed games, where the devs went insane making games as hard as humanly possible, almost to the point of being unfair.

And as a pre-Internet kid, I just trusted the developers made a good game and I just needed to get good at it. The Angry Video Game Nerd has made me feel a lot better about crappy games I used to play. It... it wasn't ME!

KinaFay I used to play this game with my sister, to see who can beat it. So many batteries were spent on this. Giving it back and forth. We could never finish it. Just as the gameplay started I got a big dose of nostalgia. I have to see the ending now.

Great nostaglia. This was definitely one of the harder Game Boy titles but I did manage to finish it with one life a couple of times. The shield of protection if I remember correctly nullifies every second hit, which is why some hits don't register in the playthrough. Boots of jumping were essential and it could be a real pain to lose those at a later stage. I loved the bold graphics and light-hearted soundtrack of this game, as well as the smooth controls.

I just love it how Kuros (the main character) is supposed to be an athletic, muscular Conan-like warrior, yet all you get to see in-game is a skinny knight in armor who jumps like a frog and swings his sword like a rusty automaton :P Good game nonetheless.

OMG! :`D I've been searching for this game for YEARS. I played this as a kid, but the only things I remembered were shreds of the music, and the year I played it. And that year I used to cancel out games in my search...using an incomplete database... This probably just sounds stupid, but the moment I heard the music, my heart jumped! XD Edit: Oh man, the level 2 music is even better, than I remember... *melts*
@konsens3 жыл бұрын
yeh exactly.. i only played it because i wanted to hear the music!!! ;) The theme in level 2 is also my favourite. It has 3 great parts. I wonder who the composer was?

Even in your longplay you are able to see how brutal and unforgiving this game is. It's so incredible hard! But it was made for the young population. Could they at least have some pitty? They just didn't care about children which broke their thumb because they played this game. And that "music" which repeats once you collected some items is so unspeakable horrible.
@thisdude45029 жыл бұрын
So is super mario world. It was very unforgiving in many places and i broke my thumb several times throughout it.

I remember every time someone offered to lend this game to me for one of mine, I would ez skip it. This game is one of those games that everybody would ask you if you want to lend it, probably because they were not thrilled themselves with the game lol. I lent it once and was like ,"uggh...can't wait to return that one". I never liked these fences that pop up every time you finish a level. It's like "Alright you can leave your cage, but now enter another one". I'm pretty sure most who owned the game didn't finish the game themselves *smileys*. For a collection I think this game is a must. The cover is one of the best imo. This game compared to Swords & Serpents on the NES though still feels like paradise. As someone who owned Swords & Serpents I never even considered asking someone if they wanted to play hell lol

First I wanna say that you make really good Walkthroughs, Ricky C. I am just asking myself why they made such extremely hard games? I remember how unforgiving this game was. It was really hard as hell and without continuous. I played it so focused, the gameboy was wet when I finally gave up because the sweat was allover it. And still I was unable to finished it. But my sister did it anyhow. I was so jealous on her ... We were just kids, could they have a bit mercy?
