I, too, love God and my country. Am a United States Marine and am just now after almost 50 years seeking help from VA. This young man is not telling anyone to be dishonest, he's simply trying to do what the VA should have done by educating soldiers.

60% gerd is a hard claim to obtain and would require much gastrointestinal distress. 70% MH + 50% Migraines + 30% Gerd alone brings a veteran to 90%. Tinnitus would be 91% thanks to a 10% rating. 70% MH is achievable but a high bar. Alll veterans should file for what they deserve. Examine your med records for your max benefit and consider things that have affected your life.

I'm a VET at 70% pension. Not everything you claim with the VA will give you a compensation increase. The VA is real good for accepting your service connected claim and giving 0% !!

💯 P&T vet here. Find yourselves vet friendly doctors to get the evidence you need guys and girls. I’ve had a couple docs that once they learned I was a vet they offered to write up whatever I needed to help me with my claims. Learn about your conditions and study the DBQs and rating criteria for your conditions so you are prepared for the questions you’ll be asked at your C&P exam. Be proactive. Nobody else can do what’s best for you and your family except you.

The VA gives me free hearing aids that cancel out my tinnitus yet the VA has denied me a claim for hearing loss and tinnitus.

I had to wait 50 years to get a 100% disability rating and I had to be terminally ill ….. dying !!. Yup … entered the Navy in 1972 ,, and in 2022 , I was treated for Triple Hit, Stage 4 DLBCL with horrific symptoms of Cachexia, Ascites and Edema. If you don’t know what these are look them up.

They granted me 30% for migraine, 10% gerd, 70% ptsd, 10 tinnitus, 0% bilateral hearing loss.

VA blew me off in 2000 after 22 years for tinnitus. Told me they provided hearing protection. Damn tinnitus is annoying as hell and getting worse. I need to go back.

Thank you this is a game-changer for me. I have been procrastinating for 20 years in getting a rating. Hadn't even applied for benefits until I almost died in 2018. This video convinced me. I'm sure we'll be in touch.

15 years service. 2 tours to Iraq. Many years of loud noises, had a hearing profile in my medical records for years. Definitely ringing i my ears all the time and terrible hearing.shoulders, lower back, hips, neck hurt all the time. Wife tells me I have been super angry since getting back From my last deployment. If you are like me you just sucked it up and tried to make it to 20, that and at the time never wanted to say anything at the VA because you have friends who lost limbs or got blown up over there and in your head you felt wrong for doing so. Between all that and having sleep apnea who knows where to go from here. I feel like my body is aged double my actual age but I was never the guy who tried to go to the doc and complain all the time

I literately have every one of those things and much much more. It is insane how the VA tells you none of these things, and even, at times, lies! You earned this care. Go get it (honestly ofc).

I'm an Army OEF vet, 44-years-old, been out of the Army for almost 2 decades, and I'm getting ready to start this process now. I've heard a lot of VA horror stories from buddies who have been through it, and it kept me from even trying.

Love your video. Took me 5 yrs to get 100 % Pt. If I saw this video 5 yrs ago it would have saved me a bunch of yrs. Now I’m teaching other vets

What you say in your video and in the real world of VA claims is totally different. I tried to clain Tinnitus and was denied after a claims hearing test where I have Tinnitus. The VA said where my hearing test going into the military and the hearing test exiting the military was the same. I never had a hearing test the entire time I was in the military. I was a M60E3 gunner in Desert Storm on the front. I have hearing damage from the war and while in service. It is NOT a easy claim to win.
