3 жыл бұрынBravely Default 2 is finally out! I'm so happy! To celebrate, I took some time to share my thoughts on the Bravely Default 2 soundtrack and on how it compares to previous Bravely Default titles, all coming from the perspective of a game composer.

I agree you ! Seth's theme sounds like a flamenco! This theme have the same atmosphere of "vamo alla flamenco" in FFIX! This react video inspire to hear more songs of brave default! Well done! Bring more react videos for us.

Sir you do Monster Hunter and Bravely series music content, this is literally the best channel. I've been looking for more people to acknowledge the amazing music from those series for ages now.

Thanks man. Too bad Revo's record labels are morons and don't like their music being promoted for free, because they keep giving me copyright strikes and even took down my video on Edna's battle theme. So BD content from me is likely to be sparse going forward, unfortunately.

Great analysis. It's always amazing for me whenever I know some technical musical stuff from Revo's works, since I'm a big fan of his, but I don't have the proper musical knowledge. It would also be nice if you could analyze Revo's Sound Horizon, which is his main project. There, the man goes even crazier and reaches levels of creativity that are always beyond our expectations. The pure combination between fantasy stories and music lies in Sound Horizon.

This is really intriguing to me. I enjoyed your explanations of BD2’s music. Revo did an amazing job, especially battle themes are really amazing. He lives up to our expectations! I’m really enjoying BD2 and its music. Thanks to you, I’ve come to love and appreciate video game music even more than before, Davi. Btw, how is your play going? I’m just into cutting grass. My BD2 playthrough is on hold at the moment because I had to switch focus to Monster Hunter Rise, but I'll get back to BD2 soon and I'll make more videos about it's music for sure.

I also noticed that, right after the "retro final fantasy arpeggio" that introduces the battle theme, the next couple of seconds is the same as in the battle theme from BD1 (conflict's chime) until it transcends into its very own BD2 battle theme.

Oi Davi. The heavier metal-style really lends itself naturally to the battle themes giving the music such power. I’m in awe of game music composers. You really do have such huge knowledge and skills. Thanks for sharing again this week :)

I really liked this video! I really love Bravely Default music! And have listened to the concert many times. It is just so awesome, best concert I've ever seen. So happy someone explained and compared it to the first game from a musicians point of view! Keep up the good work! For me I think to many songs sounds the same. I guess that's my only complain with the second game.

I really like the music of Bravely Default 2... it reminds me of Octopath Traveler. I think you should check out Octopath Traveler as well because I believe their music's god tier. Btw, love you content. Deserve more subs.

Hmm... I can't hear an AoT reference there. Though, admittedly, Revo's AoT music does sound similar to his BD music.

The final boss theme is so epic, but the fight itself is way to easy with the last asterisk maxed out.
