I completed my graduation in game dev, definitely wayyy harder than I expected but I am still optimistic, often feel the burnout because of the financial stress but in the end it'll be all worth it, atleast I hope so

If you can afford to live cheaply then satisfactory but low salary job. If you have big expenses and you can't find a satisfactory job then go for an unsatisfactory job that pays you good till the time you're able to sustain yourself properly. Also, always keep making investments to help your future

If you have the following 1) huge marketing budget 2) ability to update and make improvements based on user feedback 3) track play store rating changes and based on that improve the game and again re market 4) Ability to link with influencers, journalists and many more, then you can make lots of money. If you don't have these, it is very difficult to make any money. Typical self game publishers on an average makes 0 or some amount very minimal per day. If your game is very good and becomes an editors choice in google play or IOS, then it is excellent, then those stores will market for you and you can make good money. Plain fact - it is very very difficult to make any money as it is highly competitive now.
