Game Freak's SECRET Masterpiece? | Pocket Card Jockey: Ride On! Review

5 ай бұрынGame Freak are most known for making the Pokémon games, but have you ever heard of one of their lesser-known titles: Pocket Card Jockey? This game was initially made as a Nintendo 3DS eShop exclusive and centres around a rather peculiar combination of horse-racing and solitaire. It sounds bizarre, but trust me: it works. Since then, it's been remastered for the Nintendo Switch as Pocket Card Jockey: Ride On! as announced in the recent Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase and I could not recommend this hidden gem enough.

I never dove in myself, but I've always appreciated the novelty of this goofy, little game. It's cool to see Game Freak dabble with new ideas! 🎉

It's such an out-there concept, but it's a joy to play, haha. Would recommend giving it a shot!

Thanks for watching, I always felt like this game deserved some more attention so I'm glad it's getting a second chance on the Switch!

I also remember „Tembo the badass elephant" from these guys & Sega. Might actually play it someday.

No better combo wombo than horses and solitaire, feel bad for the horses who can't play tho. 10/10 review Monke
