Imanaga is probably used to his side scoring less. Because when he was in Japan, there were few scores for his side as well. Thanks to his catcher and team for bringing out the best in him.

We'[[ see as ,more hitters get a look at him and make adjustments. But for now, no one is better.

I like these pitching duels. I find them more exciting than a slugfest. I have no idea why Happ would try to score on a ball hit straight to the first baseman. There was no chance to score. If Bart had held onto that ball, Bellinger would be an easy out. I would like to see Morel's batting average go a bit higher. But he does seem to be turning into a pretty good clutch hitter. Morel's overall line: .217/.300/.416 Morel's line with runners in scoring position: .273/.314/.659 Five of Morel's nine home runs have come with runners in scoring position.
