I really enjoy your videos. Concise, well-organized, and void of vain attempts at humor. I can watch your videos and really learn the game without extra "fluff" thrown in. I also really appreciate that you show close ups of the game instead of yourself explaining the rules.

This is a very clear and consice video. Your closeups while explaining the rules helped a lot and not bloating the video with easily found/understood information from the rulebook helped keep the length to a reasonable level. Thank you very much for this wonderful video.

I was too tired learning the rules for this game from the rulebook for tomorrow night's game night. but watching your video was a blast - great work as usual, precise as it can be, not bloated like many other how-to-play-videos! :)

At 23:14 you say, that the active player who travel can take 3 coins and ALSO take the five coins below, and the rules state, that the first person to choose the coin benefit take 5 coins instead if thw normal benefit

How did you like this game Branislav? I found a great deal on BGG MP for the deluxe edition but the reviews are very mixed. After watching some play throughs I think I would enjoy it and the theme seems to me to come through quite a bit, especially with the deluxe components. Looking forward to your response. PS. You said we would get your top 50 video by September! Looking forward to that as well

Well, it wasn't a game for me. 🙂 It worked well, but for me it's too light, a little random, kind of a family game with a nice theme that comes through very well. But overall it was just "OK". On the other hand, one of the members of our group instantly bought it from me as it was a big hit for him! So if you think you'd enjoy it, trust you intuition! ☺️

And regarding the TOP 50 - it's already published for Patreons, will be soon available for all! :) I wasn't able to edit it myself and again one of the members of our group decided to take the role of the editor, so we have a new editor! 🙂 But he needed some time to learn how to work with the software, and how to edit these videos to keep the same quality standards. He's now fully trained and edits both the Slovak version and (has already edited) the English version.

Question. What happens if you go on the trip, either illuminated ou dark road, and you cannot pay for the dice penalty and don't have any lanterns to reroll?

This is from the rulebook, page 17, Events (right above the Lanterns section): "When you pay a cost, you lose the indicated resource. If you cannot carry out the effect fully, do as much as possible. You cannot go below zero coins or zero prestige." So, the answer to your question is - pay as much as possible. If you can't pay, the penalty has no effect on you.

When you reroll travel dice with lantern in rulebook it says: "They may repeat this multiple times" on page 12. 19:50 In this video you are saying that you can do reroll only once?
