I'll say mate, that you were a lifesaver today! I had to learn this fast before my first play with friends and there's a massive shortage of decent tutorials online for this game. Yours was the first one I could find that actually taught the rules from someone who knew what they were doing and in a clear way. It meant I didn't turn up to the game online completely clueless! Thank you and keep up the good work! :-)

Thank you very much for this material. A very objective presentation of the rules of the game. One observation: the use of eggs in medieval construction is not a legend. Not only egg white, from chicken eggs, but also cattle blood was added to the mortar. That is why many medieval buildings are so durable (including Charles Bridge and the castle in Malbork). Excellent teach as always. Any chance of doing one for Struggle of Empires? There aren’t any resources available online of the new version except unboxing at the moment.

Thank you. :) I don't have the Struggle of Empires but I can ask the publisher if they can spare a copy. Anyway, I will not be able to do it this year, in January at earliest.

Well, Troyes is a fantastic game but there's so much demand for new releases that Troyes tutorial is not very likely. But... never say never 😊

Nice tutorial I was wondering whether we could still get adjacency bonus if we build new upgrade on upgraded actions and put it adjacent next to the previous wall Sorry for the words, it is so hard to explain, hope you get that :)

No problem, I know what you mean. :) Yes, partially - you get the adjacency bonus from the *new* tile only.

The only thing didnt mentioned is the extra thing for 2 white windows on your action board.

Hey, very helpful as Always. One question, in the Player aid there is a picture showing a tile Placement with the Red cathedral Symbol crossed Out... The second graphic underneath the one with the hat Symbols... We cannot seem to find out what that means.. can anyone Help?

Hello, unfortunately, I don't have the game anymore, but I think it was a player aid for the final scoring (p. 16 in the rules).
