I'm realizing this time around that Daenerys has been on a fascist trajectory this entire time. The whole "politics as faith" thing, not understanding her dynasty's history but wanting to bring it back, the feeling of indignity at having to chain up her dragons, the syncretism, etc.

with the fresh knowledge of a year’s time, as i now have a reptile of mine own, they do need a lot of calcium and protein, but breastmilk maybe isn’t the greatest source for a lizard’s needs

14:30 People say that dragons are lizards a lot, but is that nessecarily true? I think the defining characteristic of dragons is their heat, and lizards are cold blooded. Given that they also only eat warm food, I assume that Dragons are their own kind of animal.

Pterosaurs were warm blooded reptiles that were massive and could fly, but aren’t considered dinosaurs or birds, they’re a whole separate branch of reptiles. Maybe some of the inspiration for dragons comes from them? Minus the fire spitting part.

Damaged/traumatized to be more exact. Her life has sucked for 98-99% at this point. XD she grew up a refugee and was sold by her last remaining family member (excluding Jon, of course). All the while being told she comes from greatness. After nearing suicide,she has an awakening and begins to have some power in her husband/owners army, loses it, has a literal miracle happen, and now has people following her. How does one even find their “self” in a life like that?

Yeah,Dany being balled at the place of rebirth akin to a baby is symbolic and all. But what is all this inequality from Magic against hair,I mean it is no less organic than any other part of her body. Like why didn't her eyes burn out,why is the symbolic meaning being forced on to that event. No characters seem to acknowledge it,it doesn't really matter and it doesn't make sense.
