@@tekakiuluy3221 I agree, I have read the books and the author put lot of effort in this series but the show is not that satisfactory compared to the depth of the book. I'm not saying that the show is bad but they could have made it far much better 😁😁😚😚😚

The showrunners wanted to subvert expectations so badly they did something totally predictable. After The Long Night when Sansa tells Tyrion who Jon Snow really is, because she dislike Dany...for some reason I remember thinking "oh no, please do not set up a rivalry between Sansa and Dany or a Mad Queen arc just 3 episodes before the show finale, it is not enough time to develop it." But of course, it was convenient, so they did it. And DnD justifying Dany's sudden madness by saying that" there was always something chilling about how cold she was when she watched her enemies die" is meaningless. Tywin destroyed a rival house, Lady Stark wanted to have Tyrion killed, Jaime tried to kill Bran at the tower, the Freys killed a bunch of Starks at the Red Wedding, Jon had his own comrades executed for his attempted murder, Baratheon sacrificed his own daughter Iphigénie-style, Geoffry had Ned Stark executed, the Sand-snakes killed Myrcella in the name of vague revenge, Cersei blew up the Sept, Olenna murdered Geoffry, Littlefinger killed his wife, Tyrion killed his girlfriend, his father and he blew up a bunch of ships, Arya had a hit-list...My point is that neither of these characters seemed to have shed many tears over the deaths of the people who died at their hands or at their order and they didn't have a nervous breakdown either. Honorable Ned Stark beheads a guy in episode 1 for deserting the Nightwatch and then he explains to Bran why he did it. The world of GoT is cruel, ruthless and even decent(ish) people commit horrible acts. But then DnD runs out of books to adapt and they suddenly try to explain things away by reasoning that does not work in this universe. I have only watched two seasons, the first and the last and some clips and episodes here and there but it did not look like the universe of GoT operates on human rights and the Geneva conventions.

Dany becoming mad was kinda grown out of situation. But it should have taken way more time, pretty much like everything else. But the Dany end was kinda expected but still not well written, the same end with more time and love to detail would have been great

As she travels all over the world, never settling down, never finding peace, that image of the red door appears time and time again in her thoughts. @@Exodon2020 I expected her to go that route, however it was poorly done. It doesnt matter if it was hinted at, what matters is that it wasnt written to make any sense. If they accepted the more episodes offer than maybe it wouldn't feel so badly rushed and trashed. But then again, the quality of the show started declining once they ran out of books to reference.

Please allow me, i'm always a bit miffed you could say when people say that are surprised about the ending or that it didn't fit her character so i made paragraphs, if you please (also english is not my first language) her character development was that she was a sheltered girl who thought her brother would become king, then he sold her as a bride for a dothraki and she understood that he didn't care about her, she resented him for it so when she had the opportunity to gain power, she made him pay and took his dream of ruling over the 7 kingdoms. She thinks she is going to succeed with the dothrakis, but her husband and child die, she feels like she has lost everything. Luckily, dragons are born from the stone eggs she was gifted at her wedding so now she feel like she can still succeed. Her dragons are growing up but she is not getting closer to her goal, and again she is losing hope, but her dragons are helping. Stuff happens and now she knows that the king of the 7 kingdoms is after her, she is gaining allies albeit not really useful ones and her dragons keep growing up. She finds out that she can control her dragons and thus use them as a weapon (whatever she says, they're still useful weapons). She goes to cities with slavery in hope of helping them, she succeeds, now again she believes that she can become queen of the 7 kingdoms (even though she knows no one there). She kills all of the masters in Meereen? or was it Yunkai? Either way, that's mass killing, and she was advised not to do it but she still did, because that's not how you gain the trust of people and but she is the rightful queen (even though there is no such thing as a rightful ruler, in the end, they all became rulers using force). Also before that she killed that monk guy Stuff happens, she clearly is not a good person, she wants to rule over the world, how can you miss that? Anyway, fast forward to season 7 i think, where she goes to westeros, she's asking jon to bow to her (entitled much huh?) even though she is in no way the queen yet. She loses all her allies, Dorn, the Greyjoys, the Tyrells, and all that is left are her unsullied and the north (and that is only because she's banging Jon, because clearly the north is more on Sansa's side then his, which makes sense because it's Sansa who truly helped free Winterfell, Jon arrived at the end and just harvested the seed that she had planted). She has lost almost everything, one of her dragon, most of her allies, and she keeps questioning Jon's loyalty, Missandei is the only person (with Jorah) who has been with since almost the beginning, she is her most precious friend, and she ends up being brutally killed in front of her, so of course it makes her angry, and she is no stranger to being impulsive. She has her dragons and an army that has already defeated the White Walkers, she is only thinking about taking revenge for everything, her only goal is to kill Cersei. Yes she kills many people on the way, but again she is no stranger to mass killing either and there was no other way. What's a bit of sacrificing when you can destroy the cycle? Anyway, everyone understands that she was never fit to be the queen (but neither is Bran honestly) and Jon kills her because it is the right thing to do. Also she had no allies, even without her bad temper, she would had been an awful queen, simply because she has lived away from Westeros for so long and didn't know about every families, armies, etc. tldr; *Rule n°1 of a good coup d'état : have allies and know what you're getting yourself into!*

Arti-Innocent!! Dude in what world was viscerys innocent. He was abusive towards her all his life and then sold her away to a bunch of savages just so he could get an army. Those aren't the actions of an innocent.Also what other innocents did she kill except for the people of king's landing.( although in my personal opinion all of them were assholes anyway so can't say she did anything wrong there either).

On a side note, you know everyone gets on her for burning down Kings Landing, but I think even if she hadn't Cersei definitely would have. She most certainly had no qualms about using that wildfire and there was no way she was gonna down without a fight. I think she had them set the bells off and was likely waiting for Dany and the army to move into the city before lighting it up so she could take them all out in one go just like she did with the Sept. The people in Kings Landing were cannon fodder to Cersei, they were going to die no matter what.

I come late to this, but you are right, I was not a fan of Daenerys but what they did with the carater in season 8 was terrible. Daenerys did some... things but they made sense, burning King's Landing because they surrender just brakes the moral of Daenerys, it would have made more sense if (my opinion) she burned kings landing because no one trusted her, she was an outsider with an ootsider army, and following the thing of Daenerys justice she would have then burned the city, still too much, but better for the character that she is. Sorry for my English, I am from Spain so any mistake pls tell me.
