@@CobGobblin69 Unfortunate that he'll never be in another one though. He gave up on acting after GoT. He more or less said that while he enjoyed his time shooting GoT, it made him completely lose his love for acting. It became more of a job than a passion for him.

It's because people had to wait years for it to happen. When it finally did, people freaked out. One of the downsides of being able to binge-watch big shows is that you become numb to a lot of things. There's no time to allow you to really anticipate and yearn for what happens next. Instead you just raise your eyebrows and move on to the next episode.

This was the last episode written by GRRM himself. He originally wanted the entire episode to take place in Kings Landing, throughout the Purple Wedding, but the showrunners were against that. Wish they'd have kept his original plan tbh but still a great episode!

They did a great job with it so I won’t criticize, but I wonder what the issue would have been with spending 100% if the time in King’s Landing (pacing concerns I guess?). Much like the Red Wedding other things happen in the episode but, by comparison, who cares?

Yes! We finally get the Purple Wedding reaction! Been waiting a week for this and then you guys drop it on my birthday! Pretty good present, not gonna lie. 😉 I know it's a surprise how Joffrey dies, but I didn't expect Carter to be more shocked than anything else. When this episode aired, people were mostly celebrating that Joffrey was finally gone. So, these reactions were interesting. Oh and the Olenna sunglasses coming back was a nice touch. 😆

Joffrey's death is poetic! mainly because he went out giving his assholeness to the full extent especially with that play. That was an insult to Tyrion, Loras, his new wife Margaery, and Sansa. You can clearly see the divide between good and evil. Those who were laughing and those who weren't. Then he poured his wine out on Tyrion's head and then they had an extremely awkward moment between each other(for the last time). It's like saying if he's going to go out, he's going to go out with a bang. I will say this, look carefully at the short scene with Lady Olenna and Sansa, when she says "war is war" she pulls something off of sansa.

Bring devils advocate here … In Shay’s defense, she not just telling Tyrion to stand up to his family. She asked him if he loves her they can run away together and love a normal life but he told her he doesn’t want to leave. Even if doesn’t always say it, that conversation made it clear he like the power and the games in Kingslanding.

3:16 Fun Fact: Dogs can easily track in water, even running water. Sometimes it actually amplifies the scent of the person being tracked. The Mythbusters and even Mark Rober did a video trying to trick dogs and nothing worked. Their noses can pick up on scents 1 part per trillion. It's also a combination of dog and handler that work together. PS: I saw that sly edit, but why put that in when it could spoil a reveal much later in the show if one of the other guys glance at this video to watch the scene again?

Also, in the books, when given the Valyrian Steel sword, Joffrey says "I know how to handle Valyrian Steel!" which caused Tyrion to figure out that he was the one who send the murderer to kill Bran. The dagger was in Robert's private collection, he mumbled when drunk that "It would be better for the boy to die", and Joffrey wanted to impress him. Also with Joffrey's death crown goes to his younger brother.
