Anyone else find it funny how Shagga was one of the few to get a happy ending? He won his battles, got well paid, and went home. For all we know, he's out there still.

I love the subtle moment when Shagga hears a crow and turns his head in thought of it. Shagga of the Stone Crows hearing a crow as if it's a sign from his gods giving him approval to trust this stranger.

I love how Bronn's reaction to Shagga's order to kill him is to pull out ANOTHER blade, as if things weren't serious before

We all know Tyrion is extremely smart. Not just book smart. And it's the little things that help him sell his idea and ultimately keeps him alive. Tyrion saying he comes from "Clan Lannister" instead of "House Lannister" is a subtle yet important way to gain common ground with Shagga. I doubt he's ever called his house a "clan" before as it would normally be an insult to them.

Wow, we were THAT close to Tyrion spending the next 7 seasons dancing for the hill people's children. That would have been quite a twist.

In Season 4, Bronn asks Tyrion: "When did you ever risk your life for me?" Well, he did here; he spoke while risking his life to save Bronn and himself.

I love how Tyrion starts trying to push his luck with the whole "shits better steel" thing before being reminded that he might die.

Gotta love that crow sound at the end of the scene. You can totally tell Shagga believes Tyrion's offer is an omen from his gods.

I love how the clansmen walk up... it's so eerie, they just stroll up all relaxed cause they know they have them surrounded.. great directing, makes the scene seem so much more authentic

That's one of the most amazing things about this show. For the extraordinatry amount of characters on the show, the acting across the board is top notch, even from small characters.

Next level of Tyrion's intelligence is described better in the book, where he was not being caught at all by surprise by the clansmen. HE lured them to him by speaking and singing loudly and making a big fire, hoping they show up before he leaves the forest, since he needed provisions, extra protection in case he ran into enemies and a powerful ally to keep the vale knights inside the vale in case of hostilities.

Imagine if Tyrion’s words failed him and every season after this just consists of him dancing and performing for hilltribe children

I like how Bronn laughs along with Tyrion's joke. He doesn't want a confrontation either. He's killed enough men for the day.

Tyrion is a character i always think over and over when studying, he makes me laugh one minute then sends a shiver through me with his creepy way of speaking.

Gotta say, the actor who plays Shagga does a fine job of it. Love his laugh.

That one scene ALONE was enough to win Peter that Emmy! Every last actor in this series brought out their "A" game, but Peter..? went even further. DAMN, what a great series!

How can you not love Tyrion? He can always talk his way out of certain death and offer his would-be killer(s) something more valuable in return to boot.

Shagga, son of Dolf... Its hard to imagine this is the same actor that played Captain Canady of the First Order-Dreadnought, as well as General Pikalov in Chernobyl. Mark Lewis Jones is a véry underrated actor.

Ok but Tirion catching on to how they talk and using that to his advantage when talking his way out is freaking impressive. I’m a big talker but I’d be dead so fast in that situation.

I like the fact that Tyrion makes a point of looking back up at Shagga after he's been cut. It's like he's saying, "See what I mean?" The little head tilt Shagga does is icing on the cake.
