Here is my PERSONAL Gameplay settings that I use in American Truck Simulator!

Crazy how the last 60 days, have been the worst of my life, between my wife leaving me, taking the pets and everything, my truck dying and going broke. This video was the best part of my day. Thank you for the settings ive never payed attention to, and hearing you walk me through it is like having a 1 on 1 with your teacher. Thanks mike

Prayers going up for you man. Been through that. Lifes better now than it was before then. That was a rough patch and I did not see my life heading where it is now. You got this. As the other said. One door closes and more open. Find those doors. Walk through those doors. Stay hopeful.

Loved the video dude I’ll be checking them out setting out tonight when I jump on as I also got the R5 bundle not got the shifter yet as they been out of stock for months hopefully in the new year I get 1. Hey brother, thank you for the awesome video. Your quality is on the level of Jeff Favignano and I really appreciate the time you put in. I'm having trouble dialing in my force feedback settings for my Fanatec Podium DD2 system and I can't get the force feedback to feel right. Especially on the highway, no matter what my force feedback settings are, I feel looseness in the first five degrees of turn and I've heard about this issue many times on the SCS forums. Either people don't seem to mind it or it is some kind of incompatibility with the Fanatec Podium DD2 system. Let me know if you have any thoughts. Much appreciated sir.

Followed most of your recommendations and it makes the truck realism more improved .However, now I have a wheel “shimmer” that I never had before. Thoughts?

I think scs changed the default physics since the update; because i bought a used truck and for the first time had to use diff lock

I've always been looking for such a video from a real trucker, thanks! I do have a question tho for most realism would you use the same settings for the SCS W900 with the cabin moving separately from the hood or would you change anything?

My only issue I’m having is while steering. When turning my truck wheels will fully turn even though my wheel isn’t all the way turned I don’t know how to fix it. I tried to turn my wheel radius down in logitch g hub but didn’t help

I have a problem, it turns out that after playing for a while I have horrible stuttering and I realize in the Win taskbar that it is consuming almost the 16 GB RAM and this dual channel is normal? I have a mid-range gaming laptop

its been along time since i've used mods in this game. "other then xp mods" to just customize my trucks and with multiple updates and stuff hard to keep up with things, i'd love to find some mods to mess with "that are safe to get" "not paid" also i usually just used steam but ik theres other places also, just curious if anyone has any suggestions "not links in chat tho" lol i mostly want like realistic mods, maybe some new engines, if theres some old school trucks that might have a shifter in them or whatever i love the peterbilt 389-379 and old school macks also chat im on MKB with red switches curious if anyone else plays with keyboard, what steering settings u use, "on the realistic side please"

I have a Moza R-5 But my steering turns real fast and don't match the wheel animation in the truck . Can you tell me what your settings are in the Moza software . mine is set at 2000 and still turns full at like a half turn of the steeering wheel, thanks for the video been looking for this for about a year

The mod doesnt showup in game, for reference I copied the link, opened the workshop in game and pasted the link then subscribed and it worked :D @@MikePettGaming

Realism is the whole point of ATS. 120 mph down the highway is just stupid. The game shouldn’t even allow you to go that fast because that’s you going to prison in real life. So honestly if you do 120mph you should get a one day suspension from the game. Because I believe this game to be a teaching point also on the proper way of driving and being a safe but also efficient truck driver. Love your channel bro with how authentic you are.
