The Chrono Cross remaster looks to be the first of the PS1 era pre-rendered RPGs to get AI upscaled environments in an official sense. Or at least the upscaling looks close to the fan made AI mods that have been done for the FF games of that era.

Unlike the Camelot sports games this shouldn’t be barebones and should be so much fun… they kept the aggressive art style too. Great show as always tho :-)

Thank god Collin was on the panel, otherwise this episode would have gone by without Gamescoop mentioning the Mario Strikers announcement during the direct. That’s a huge one, those games are so good and if Next Level Games is developing I think we can expect the same quality. And you can play 8 players 4v4 on a single Switch! Scoop!

what if the idea behind Mario Kart 8 is that the 8 actually represents the infinity symbol, so this is the last MK we ever need to own because they don’t need to release more numbered versions, they just need to continually update it and re-release it on all future platforms in its most recent/currently updated iteration (ie: “Deluxe Plus,” or whatever) 🤔🤔🤔

In regards to the sports game roster website they reference in the magazine: by rule, college athletes are amateurs and couldn't use their name or likeness (until recently). So, even though gaming companies could license the NCAA and the individual school names, they could not use the player names. Gaming companies got around this by using the exact player number and making the in game models look similar to the real players, just not using their names. This all culminated when a class action suit against the NCAA said athletes should be entitled to the compensation from any licensing of their likeness after they graduate. EA stopped making college basketball games in 2009 and college football in 2013. So, to get to the situation in the magazine. People would individually rename every player in the game to their real life counterparts and then sell that saved roster file to people looking for the real player names rather than just numbers. This actually continues to this day. Since no more college games have released, there are continuous updates of the old games for each new season, not just for player names, but will alter attributes for new players as well.

Chrono Cross is one of my favorite JRPGs. One of the few times I've 100% completed a game, every character (88), every ending, every weapon. And it has one of the best opening songs and montages of any rpg.

I could see a tv only switch with Nintendo switch sports as a pack in for $200 released this holiday. The switch OLED is priced in between the xbox series s and ps5 digital. I think at $200 it could be a spontaneous buy, or a great purchase for people with a switch lite. Especially if Nintendo can get more streaming services

My theory is Nintendo is charging this DLC price so they can eventually remaster every old Mario Kart course and then the next MK will be an ultimate version like Smash with every course included. Switch 2 launch game.

MarioKart 8 Deluxe also includes the whole Battle Mode, and all the Battle Mode courses, which never was on the Wii U version.

No clue if you get Swisse products in the US, if you do get some Immune Action, best thing for a cold.

7:43 Wouldn't Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories be a real time card combat game? You have to set up your "deck" and play them in an order in the middle of battles, you dont get to sit and decide what to do. and you can change it on the fly.

kirbys dream land 2 is one of the best games at last top 50 of all time ... and to get the hard mode and kill the hidden boss was hard. and never did its 3 bosses in a row for the non REAL kirby fans.. so kribys games well yeah they suck i played that pre highschool... but epic yarn and past are a mf joke of lets aim for 12 and under you cant die... in a one day beatable game

Happy hmmmmm not really it was ok. More like something old something new something borrowed something blue. Followed by a lot of old stuff again. It’s cool to hear people talk about these classic games but I don’t wanna remaster I want a remake of those games if you’re going to give them to me now. It seems more like a quick buck. Why can’t we get a remake for these games I mean seriously these look like port updated ports that’s it. We got a few new games which I’m excited for but they aren’t set the world on fire excitement they’re just all OK I expected that sounds good I’ll play it and that will be it.

The best way to play Earthbound is to completely avoid it.

I'm convinced anyone who claims BOTW is their favorite game of all time started playing video games 5 years ago.

Most of these are unoriginal, low effort, usual Nintendo BS, remasters and ports, resells from Wii/WiiU that look like living poop and runs with 15fps but now on Switch, and you can buy it again for full price. But who cares, people will gobble it up, honestly, I cannot blame Nintendo, If you could sell subpar garbage to people and make a lot of profit then why would you put in more effort to make better stuff?
