Good thing this isn't a reboot and this theory is incorrect! Scott said he wasn't the dev on Reddit, meaning the indie games in Help Wanted cannot be the FNaF games. He also said in the same post FNaF1-UCN are canon to UCN. How could they be canon if they never happened? Don't listen to what Mat says because most of his newer FNaF theories are incorrect.
