Welcome back to Five Nights at Freddy's, where today we are diving into the successor of William Afton - or rather his cult. The Cult of Glitchtrap. You see, with the release of the FNAF VR: Help Wanted DLC, Curse of Dreadbear, we were introduced to what looks to be our new big bad of the series moving forward. Damn dude, Matpat is smart as hell. I just watched a playthrough of Security Breach, and that was really my intro into FNAF lore. Watching this 2 year old video after having watched a Security Breach playthrough, I am so impressed with how much MatPat got correct! Any other times I've watched Matpat videos, I've thought his theories were logical, entertaining, and well thought out, but I never thought they actually depicted the artists' intent. After seeing how spot on he was with this FNAF theory, it makes me wonder what other theories he nailed.

Based on the vr tapes it could be Vanny herself, but possessed? or an alter ego? Yeah sure in one of the endings it was shown that there is another Vanessa while the building is on fire but knowing fnaf it could represent her spirit being trapped in the building forever.

Thank you for doing St. Jude for the charity this year. Personally speaking I lost my grandfather to cancer in September and hearing you talk about it brought up a lot of hurt I'm still feeling. But if there is a cure to be found then I'd give all I have to find it. So to those who want to tune in, please donate. The reason why this franchise even exists is because people though Chipper looked like a very creepy animatronic, and then after that Scott made FNaF 1, and since it stood out from other horror games at the time, it got really popular and thus spawned multiple sequels/prequels, merch, an absolute MINE of fangames, even a movie coming out soon, and a ton more. Also the nightmare you were referring to, it wasn't for chipper. Scott said that he had a nightmare about the OG Bonnie banging at his bedroom door, but fortunately before he got attacked, he woke up.
