Guys. I still like Game Theory and will continue to watch their videos. But I had to give my HONEST reaction to their latest theory about DOORS and in my opinion, they are wrong. It may differ from yours, and that's ok. As Game Theory always says, it's a THEORY, not a FACT and we are expected to draw our own conclusions from observations with our own eyes and ears and knowledge and that it may differ from theirs. It's OK to disagree with other videos and KZfaqrs.

Slight correction: Guiding Light actually does not talk to you after you die if you got modifiers on.

23:00 actually guiding light doesn't give you hints when you die if modifiers are active interms of actual gameplay, this is probably just so guiding light doesn't give wrong hints like "screech lurks in dark rooms" when the "I'm Everywhere" modifier is active

Slight correction: Guiding Light's symbols are the crucifix and the candle, and the rules for going into el tio's mines say that no other religious artifacts are allowed. Which implifies the fact that guiding light WON'T be in the mines.

They only got 2 errors in my opinion and most of the theory sounded right. Error #1 Said you had to get out of rooms to go into backdoors. (This is a small error might still work with their theory if curious light is able to get out through the door you came in.) Error #2 Said that Guiding light and modifiers can't coexist. This one is a bigger error but I think that the theory still works but instead guiding light is weaker when modifiers are active. Also Game Theory said Curious light would be in floor 2 - 24:22 Also Thinknoodles 26:29 (Or did you mean to say Guiding Light)

A micro theory here: The crucifix turning red if it's used on the Figure or Seek, is that the 3rd architect doesn't want the game to be too easy so she interrupts Guiding Light. If she didn't exist, Guiding Light is powerful enough to banish both of them.

Note!: Red Light is ab entity from the Tower Heroes Collab and works with the Figure warning him of your presence in the library. That's all, reply for more swag

I think that this theory isn’t flawed because entering the rooms might have let curious light out too because they can go the way you came

There's 2 ways to get "One of Many" badge in Backrooms. The first is playing Doors during The Hunt event as it's easy to get to the backrooms. The other way... is way longer for a alt account. You're unable to go to Backrooms until you get the Detour badge from Rooms. So that would mean that you need play normal Doors, get 2 lockpicks, and a skeleton key, open, and go through Rooms, exit Rooms, beats normal Doors, AND then go to Backrooms and die to get your first death. All without dying, btw if you're a new player or using an alt account

I think his reasonings for saying mentioning that A-1000 had to be reached was just for story’s sake. After all, it would seem weird that Curious Light would keep requesting that you try again to complete the whole thing if he was already free just from you entering The Rooms

I believe the reason you need the "detour" badge and not "A-1000" to enter the backdoor is to balance the game so people don't need to spend 2 hours in the rooms just to play the backdoor. However I do believe that in the lore we go through the 1000 rooms and let curious light out.

I assume that the detour badge to open the backdoors is because LSPLASH knows that getting to A-1000 is difficult. A-1000 is how curious light gets to the backdoors and when you complete it, curious light gets into the hotel.

Also, I completely agree with Game Theory's theory.

I don't know how many people know but if you get the big potion from the backdoor and already have something in your rift at the start, when you replace it to get the current item out, the second rift shows up. meaning you don't specifically need to go all the way to the end of doors to get the second rift.

I think the A-1000 theory is correct but the back door is locked behind detour from a game design standpoint.

I have a challenge for think for doors days It's called bad luck The modifiers to use are Chaos chaos, your life is miserable due to all this chaos El goblino's payday, you are so unlucky you don't even have money Less stuff, are things you are unlucky and don't have money to get items Room for more, not only the doors entities wanna kill you but even the rooms entities are behind you Stop right there, your bad luck has caused A90 to be behind you and try to hunt you down You really can run, just making your life miserable at this point Last but not the least, didn't skip leg day, I mean you do wanna run from all the entities don't you? If you want you can add more modifiers to make it way more fun And lastly just wanted to say I really enjoy your videos, they are extremely fun with a lot of humor

I actually think Tom might have been reading too much into the whole 'She said you could call it Blitz' thing. You could be like him and assume that it MUST be a whole new entity, but I think an easy and logical answer might be that Curious Light was referring to Guiding Light. As far as I know, Guiding Light isn't canonically male, and being fresh out of rooms, he probably should have run into guiding light. I could be wrong, but I just feel like it's a much more possible answer.

Think, 1)The whole "escape the rooms" part is from the lore POV From the lore perspective we assume the player has already escaped the 1000 rooms of the Rooms 2) The Modifiers and Guiding Light not coexisting part is also assuming that the only lore standpoint modifiers are Gone Fishing and soundproofing. 3)This is just to show how much power the Red Architect has. Theory making is kind of like history writing Assumptions are made on a framework to write a narrative Take everything with a bit of "Sans Is Ness" when it comes to theories
