While his and lui kang souls were merged i think it made him god of both thunder and fire but then raiden split his soul leaving his godhood but taking his thunder powers back. Idk tho

Something interesting it's that the ring of fire that Liu Kang emerge at the beginning of the video( 0:06 ) is the same ring of fire that Shang Tsung uses in the trailer of MK 1 ( 5:09 ).

I recommend watching from the killing of mileena to the end of the fighting stuff in 0.25 speed. Looks crazy. I think he stepped on bi-han’s (sub-zero) face and sucked kung lao’s soul. Edit: forgot to say sub-zero could also be smoke?

I've seen all the endings in mk11, even aftermath & I've never seen that one. Is that what happens when you loose the final fight against him? Now that would make sense y I've never seen it & didn't know that was even in the game. Cause I've never lost in their story/ campaign modes throughout the years.

play the aftermath dlc history, when youre at the end you can choose as fire god liu kang (real ending) or shang tsung
