We were lucky enough to spend some time and chat with Yacht Club Games’ Alec Faulkner at PAX West. This video made me rethink how do indie developers should make games. Indies usually work alone so the communication is not needed, just planning. But when you working with a team you really need to talk with everyone to have the same idea for the game. Also about shovel knight... It's my favourite oldschool looking game!

I'd like to work with a team but unfortunately my social skills are totally bad, I don't have friends, I don't communicate with ppl well, thats why i work alone

Making alone is hard, decisions are hard, decisions are wrong a lot of the time, you need external input and having another person keeping an eye on you is always good. Well aslong as they contribute, nothing worse than someone whos there just to get credit

So true. I started working with a friend on a game for a few years now and we just recently (a year ago) started to understand that most problems start with misscommunication and eveyone in the team having a different imagination. That is a big learning for me

Hey could you make a review of Ailment? Its a small indie game that doesnt have that much attention but it's noticible the amount of effort that went into it, its on steam
