They don't even LOOK at him most of the time. The vast majority of his attention was on brick walls. They barely notice the lightning comes from Trico's "butt", but never once realize Trico has emotions, and the first time he used the mirror greatly frightened Trico. It still does, though he gets used to it over time. But they are oblivious to absolutely everything about Trico.

Trico: Why don't you look at me during? Arin: I will feed you delicious barrels. Dan: Oh baby, you're so cute. I can only imagine if you were smaller. Me: (Oh Trico, you're so misunderstood.)

god I wish people got that there are backwards hips (bats), backwards shoulders (turtles), and even backwards heels (certain birds that stick their legs inside trees to grab prey, I forget which), but no backwards knees!

It's true that some specific species anatomy are special, but pretty much in all cases when people go "oh look that animal has backwards knees" they are just looking at the heel, and the knee is right there where it should be... but it's like they are blind to it because the heel is their only focus.

Leongon draws stuff yeah that really pisses me off.. I mean they have some slight excuses because sometimes the femur is really short and sometimes it's almost entirely buried inside the body, but it's like.. you can look up skeletons, you know?

I usually don't mind much, and I just explain it to people... help them know better. However, in case of Arin and Ross(I heard Ross say the same backwards knee shit on the pokemon art academy playthrough) it's a little annoying, since they are artists... One would expect them to have looked some basic anatomy if they are into drawing stuff. But they don't read comments, so it's like super frustrating not even be able to help them understand better and just be stuck having to hear the same backward knee thing over and over xd.

If you wanna see a more involved, focused let's play of this game, I recommend The Super Beard Bros. As doggo owners irl, Jirard and Alex seem to be way more attentive of and immersed in Trico, whereas the Grumps here are the type of players that are treating this as more of a game about the kid and the game mechanics.
