They seem to be going for a Guardians of The Galaxy vibe which shows that this wasn't made for fans, but to make money. The thing they could have made a film for the fans that could have made money, but it's implied that they don't know how. And this is coming from a guy who hasn't played any of the Borderlands games.

Feels like they made a Borderlands movie for non-Borderlands fans……which could work tbh

I find borderlands humour and story meh, not really my thing. But the trailer just removes any life from it, makes it feel half-hearted, just going through the motions.

Roland's casting still feels like it's the weakest. Roland is one of the few serious characters in the games. He has moments of brevity but he's a soldier. Kevin Hart is only known for being comedian. A mediocre one at that.

Like... I've watched this a couple of times now and... What's this movie about? They didn't give everything away like other trailers, but uh... they didn't give much at ALL if anything in this one. The casting is not great. Not bad, because it could have been far worse. Who's the bad guy? Is it the psycho's? What's that miniboss from BL3 doing there? What's up with this mix of BL main characters? Jack Black is a fine choice for claptrap, but uh... Yeah. No. Nope. Chock this up to another bad video game movie I guess. It would be nice if the ratio wasn't 10 bad to 1 good, you know?

I hate all of these castings, except for Krieg. He seems okay, but everyone else is just wrong. Old women playing young characters in their 20's/early 30's, that annoys me to no end. Kevin Hart as a stoic and tall muscular type? WTF. Clap should have been the voice actor. Tina is NOT Tina, there's no happy-snarky-psycho in her. They should have casted Depp as Mordecai and Lesner as Brick.

You waited a little to long. Don't understand why you didn't just upload it when it was done instead of making it a premier.
