asian dude they're mostly saying it doesn't add enough to justify its existence, has outdated mechanics, and repetitive dialogue. I saw Gamespot gave it a 2/10 and I've seen some others close to that low. They don't know the difference between a remaster and a remake and are judging this as game that wasn't just made for fans of the original. It's also a kids game but I guess that went over a bunch of game "journalists" heads

I’ve beaten the first game and loved every moment of it, but I’m of the mind the The Last of Us doesn’t need a sequel. I’m more than happy with the self contained story that it told, and I see no reason to need to return to that world. Naughty Dog is a studio full of amazingly talented developers, and I have absolutely no doubts that it’s an amazing game. The game just isn’t one that I ever really got hyped for. I don’t know anything about the story of Part II, but based on what I’ve seen, it’s just a game that I’m wanting to wait on a price drop for. I wasn’t trying to imply that it was a bad game in the slightest, as I haven’t been able to try it out yet.

I agree with u, I noticed that the characters seem to move slower in this game. They way they move seems different than in the original. The way u defeat enemies with attacks is different too. I died several times when I first got this game. I think the remake is a little disappointing.
