In Aus this machine made no money and was pulled from routs pretty quick. Now it seems to be pretty popular and they are hard to come by as they are bolted to floors. It remember was so hard in 92... the bastard drains out the right side so bad, and the outlanes were always set wide open.. I had a love hate relationship with it. Now i own it i love it and out of my 6 machines it gets more than its fair share of attention. The cannon is one of the best toys of the era imho. The sys11 rules are just fine and lots of noobs at my place appreciate the simplicity of the ruleset while still having heaps of stuff to do. The inevitable interference from the cannon makes this game a hilarious leveler for skilled players. This is no game for doing flipper tip juggling skills.. the cannon will make you pay for your bravado. Skilled players can break this machine with endless double broadsides and repeated whirlpool loop extra balls but.. not me apparently hahah.

I just picked up my first pinball machine and it is Black Rose for 500 dollars! I haven't played it before but no way could I pass on that price. Looks to be in good condition. Just need to do some work on the pops and a sling but on a quick inspection everything else seemed to be working, including the cannon! I'm looking forward to learning how to repair and maintain pins buy some more in the future! Great video!
