yeah i was just replaying this section a couple hours ago before making this comment. i had to fight both on standard. maybe they just forgot cause they dont play standard as much LOL.

RE4 remake is in many party a very different game than the original. Sure, the overall story beats are the same, but it is, as the name says, a remake. Comparing the speedruns is basically comparing apples with oranges. Take it with a grain of salt, since I haven't seen an original RE4 speedrun in some time, but I highly doubt you can take a lot from the og to the remake. Comparing times on the speedrun website: Seems like the original is about 20 minutes faster on normal difficulty than the remake.

​@@bischiboschi7335 To add to what you said, it's also important to keep in mind that the OG run's been run well over the course of a decade, so it's more optimized. You never know what crazy stuff they'll find in a few years and that could make this run half the length of the OG. Comparing the runs is still an apples and oranges case, I just thought I'd add to that lol

No, you can't move when paused. Pausing makes it easier to get a headshot because when you pause you can clearly see if the shot will hit/what adjustments you need to make. Then unpause and shoot/aim. At least that's how I understood it.
