I've been wanting to do this unboxing and review since before the Thanksgiving holidays and I was finally able to get it out. I know there are PLENTY of hand held controllers for your android out there and all of them are either just 'meh' OR cost too much. So what about this? How good is the X2 PRO? It's a shame that the M1 and M2 buttons are only mappable to the face buttons, I thought they were buttons by their own and I could use them to save/load states.

Thanks for the review, i see that you play with your phone case on. Some KZfaqr said that it cant be used with phone case.

Yes this is half true, there are some phone cases that are too big to fit with the USBC connection, but if you happen to find a low profile or skinny phone case for your phone then it will fit 🙂

You forgot to show the pass-through charging. I own this controller and it's a nice looking design but, the software to connect is horrible. On my 2017 LG V30 (running Android 9 Pie), whenever I plug in the USB-C cable to charge my phone while I play, the controller's two indicators lights blink 10 times then disconnects itself from my phone. My friend's Samsung Galaxy allowed passthrough charging just fine on the X2 Pro. Initially, I was thinking that my Android software is too old or my cellular provider was blocking the USB connection selection but, when I connected my phone to my friend's new Razer Kishi V2, passthrough charging worked flawlessly. Basically, I have to either upgrade my phone or buy a different android gaming controller. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I got one and yes its probably the best for its price, but the right analog is too close to the buttons and gets a little in the way, this was an oversight. The dpad is not great either and the shape is also not very ergonomic. Would also prefer recessed analogs. The razer kishi V2 and backbone one are better but they are both way too expensive.

Sim funciona, tenho este aparelho e uso o gamesir x2 Pro nele. Yes It did work well in redmi note 8 pro, but you Will able to charge your phone when using the handheld.

Its almost like these companies go out of their way to produce a uniquely flawed device. This ones right side is a disaster. Makes no sense for the thumb stick to be below the buttons.

Do not buy, if u try to calibrate it, u will lose function of the LT, and then u can't use properly unless u map one of the back buttons to be LT, got mine today and literally spent hours trying to get it sorted, and I still haven't, so I'm sending it back
